Comcast in San Jose, California - Overcharge

I moved to my towneplace back on October. Got cable and internet through comcast then the sales guy few weeks later offered me home security for $10 a month for a year. Since i was traveling i agreed. I was paying $150 a month automatically thinking i will be ahead. Last week found out I owed them money. When I called they told me my home security is $39 per month. I told them I have hard copy of teh contract for $10 per month home security for one year. The lady did not believe me and was very rude. I faxed the contract two days later and called them 5 times and still waiting for their response. Filled complaint with FCC see what happens.

Comcast - Internet Service Review

Internet has been out since mid July. Comcast investigation found their installers inadvertently pulled my line during an install at a neighboring townhome. 1 month later, 2 service visits, (techs were very professional) a new line installed, an unecessary mondem/router swap (Comcast approved & I own) I was still without service. Today I attempted to obtain another billing adjustment, and obtain the status of an additional service call on Comcast equipment outside my home that I was notified of on 8/7/14, which also promised a follow up call to insure my service was up & running which also never occured. After an unpleasant phone conversation with Courtney (Op id TFA) in billing I went to the Waukegan service center where Kara a counter clerk, was at best, unhelpful. Which truly is the kindest description I can honestly write. Of course the Waukegan Illinois Supervisor (Hilda) was not available and Kara claimed ignorance of Hilda's availability or any other Supervisor availability. Returned home and after 45 minutes talking to retention who verified Comcast created my outage, I have cancelled my service. Courtney in billing and counter clerk Kara in Waukegan Illinois your lack of concern and unwillingness to be in any way helpful was the direct cause for my cancellation.

Comcast didn't show after 14 hour wait

Called Comcast on Monday (11 August) they said someone would be out Wednesday (13 Aug) after 3pm, but I could keep calling Tuesday to see if I could pick up a cancellation. After repeated calls Tuesday, I was finally told that I had a "MUST COMPLETE" ticket and they would show up sometime between 8a and 8p on Wed; they wouldn't give me a time. Took the day off and started calling them at 6:15p to find out when they were coming..........kept getting the "MUST COMPLETE" story. I called every 15 minutes until 9:30p and was told I would have to call back Thursday morning and reschedule my appointment. Called Thursday at 6:30a and got an appointment between 2p and 4p. At 1p, someone called and asked if I still needed someone to come out. They showed at 3p and finally the cable that was cut coming across the neighbor's yard. The call center was RUDE and CLUELESS and I was without cable, internet and phone for 3 days. They didn't even apologize for the delays. Unfortunately I am out a day of wages and even if they refunded the 3 days of service I would never see it because it is paid for by the Homeowners Association. Contract is up for renewal next year and I am going to vote not to renew! Call center repeatedly refused to let me speak with a supervisor.

Comcast is the worst! Cannot access email 50% of the time. They can't fix it. Or won't.

I have had Comcast internet service for several years and had been fairly happy with it. However over the past 6 months or so it has become increasingly more difficult to access my email via their website. Approximately 50% of the time that I attempt to access email, I receive a message saying "Log in failed." And with increasing frequency, I receive the same message while I am reading my email. It simply cuts out and it is hours before I am able to log back into their website. I have made repeated calls to Comcast and spent hours with their techs to no avail. In fact, the more I complain about this problem, the worse it gets. Their customer service is all but nonexistent. They will not even admit this problem exists! I am so frustrated I am considering getting rid of Comcast altogether. I no longer use their phone service because of poor customer service. And the internet is full of customers saying exactly the same thing I'm saying. Evidently, they don't really give a ***.
