I set up internet thru comcast when I moved to a new place. It didn't work for almost 2 weeks and when they finally sent someone, they charged me $39.95 for it and refused to remove it from my account.

Even though I was told it would be free and even though it was their equipment outside that didn't work! I had to fight with them to get a credit for the couple weeks that it didn't work. Every time Ive been on the phone with them and asked them to note my account, the rep leaves something totally different! Finally, today the customer service rep told me that "I should have to pay for the technician because internet is luxury, not a utility" and that it was my choice to have the service installed.

I've had my fill with them once and for all.

Switching to AT&T. They aren't much better, but *** I'm finding out anything is better than Comcast these days!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $40.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
