Comcast - Filed Police Report on Beligerent-Confrontational Installer

The appointment was to put in another outlet in my new (to me) home. Window of time was 8-10 AM. No call. He arrived at 9:55. The installer couldn't find the cables or source of service. He got frustrated. He had to go under the house. It is a crawl space. He got dirty and angry. Then he blamed it on the house saying that the garage wasn't built with the house (it was) and things that didn't make sense to me so he got belligerent and confrontational. I went into my house and locked the door. He went around to the other door and entered my house! He said he could come into my house because he was getting his equipment. He expressly did this after I locked him out and said I was calling Comcast. I did, and then I called the police. He got in his van, still yelling and sped out of the (retirement 15 mph maximum speed limit). I am still very distressed about this and appalled that Comcast condones this behavior. They reluctantly agreed to send out another installer tomorrow. I get free TV as part of my condominium dues. I just bought this place (a manufactured home) so am sure there was cable in the living room already and the property manager concurred. I had to go to the local Xfinity store and request another installer. They are coming tomorrow.

I had a Comcast installer for tv and internet and screwed up both times by different installers with bad attitudes. Let me tell you that this was escalating into scary when they acted so annoyed they raised their voices (I got two for one together to install) and tempers getting more annoyed by the minute.

I told them very quietly how much I appreciated them and how hard they work everywhere but that I understood but that my attorney was coming and should be here within 15 minutes to finish up a transaction. They still left annoyed but told me I would have to pay for a return the next time. I told them that would not be a problem.

Scared the *** out of me and you might have guessed there was no attorney coming. Be careful who you let in to your home.....for real!!!!!

Comcast aint SHXT.! Excuse my language, but like everyone else is stating they lock you into these "agreements"which are really contracts and then they don't live up to what they advertise. My bills goes up every month, then when i call they blame it on all these different kinds of fees. Then while watching TV the box always has to be updated and if you don't it will update on its own and it takes FOREVER.!

At least 2 or 3 times a week my cable TV channels go out for hours. internet also. What is up?? I believe the wording is "comcast is experiencing an ISSUE. I dont care about thier issues!! why should I pay for such terrible service.Do C C care that, Im having an ISSUE about service. not to mention just RUDE. customer service. I have had cabe tv all over the count, never had problems. It is very scary that Comcast, a technical company, has so many technical problems. Humm, where are all the teckies,and genious working? Not at COMCAST!!

Since moving from Florida to Georgia we have been extremely underwhelmed with how different the company is represented and how awful the customer service is. Here in Ga the worst and most absurd policy (that was unheard of when we lived in Fl) is being charged extra for data usage! c'mon Comcast should (and I'm sure do) know in todays day and age we use data for EVERYTHING! I'm a student, I sometimes work from home and we stream a fair amount. I feel it is completely unfair to use that as an upper hand to try to nickle and dime us or have us upgrade to a crazy un-affordable unlimited plan. And you know thats not the worst part, if we would have been aware from the beginning that this was their policy and agreed to it I would *** my tongue, but the worst part is having an uncharming CAE, as well as a supervisor, tell me "sorry no one told you before but we can't do anything because you should have known if you read your comcast email". News Flash: most of us use yahoo or google as our primary email and its unfair to uphold us to this ridiculous fine print policy no one tells you about until it's too late. I even asked if he could at least waive this months additional $20 fee as a courtesy so I could afford to pay my bill, the amount that was quoted to me when I first signed up, and he just said he was sorry but he couldn't do anything about it since its been in place for a few years now. This was coming from the supervisor I spoke to today who said values us as a Comcast customer. When we initially signed up for internet service last summer not one of the many Comcast reps that helped us told us about this policy, which the CAE (William) and Supervisor (Keith) I spoke to today said had been in place for over 2 years now. if that's the case WHY DON'T YOU MENTION THIS TO US WHEN WE ARE SIGNING UP??? I feel like that might be something important to mention so we don't feel robbed and taken advantage of. No one told us they only credit 3 months of overage charges either. When we finally realized that our bill was higher than initially quoted we called and they made it seem like that would be continuously crediting these fees since we were never made aware of the policy when signing up, signed anything or made aware any of the other dozen times we've called about our service/bill. They continued to lie and pass the buck so they could temporarily shut us up. I feel truly cheated and I am sadden to leave Comcast since they were great the many years we had them in Florida, but not only have they become extremely overpriced their customer service is beyond reparable. They only care about getting every penny they can. I know I'll be taking my money to another company that will value me as a customer and can not only empathize that I am a student on a budget, but will not put me in the position to have to sell a kidney to be able to stay connected and afford a service that's basically a necessity now a days.

my original bill was $ 120.00 and change and now it is 139.00 who do you think you are.god? so you can charge whatever yo want. remember comcast that for $ 10.00 i can get free tv and getv verizon which will not raise the rate for years. Comcast is a bunch of liars!

It's odd that when you call to cancel and they say it's cancelled, it's not actually cancelled. I just got a letter in the mail from the so called executive customer relations. She tells the FCC that they do not deal with accounts that are passed due. My bill was not passed due in anyway before I called and cancelled. She also states that she had attempted to call me and email me numerous times only to get nothing in return. That's where the lie continues, the last call I recieved from comcast was about my wifi somehow mysteriously reaching their ridiculously low cap, in just 8 days. How? Especially when no one was around or home at the time to use the internet. But that call was back in November. The last email I had gotten was in December and I had answered that one. So, how do they justify this? By telling the FCC that my account was disconnected for non payment. So that's what you call canceling? Comcast is a corporation that needs to be taken down and disbanded for the lack of customer service, *** equipment, excessively raising bills, and for their "don't call it a cap" data cap.

We had dish network for years. We never had an issue. We decided to go with Comcast due to a package deal. That seemed to be a better deal for our needs. WE WERE WRONG. Comcast doesn't work. You can't watch a 30 minute show without it freezing up. Then it makes you reprogram your remote just to take you back to the spot it was frozen. We called and the gentleman was incredibly rude. I would NOT recommend your family ever going with this company. It's the worse. If I had it to do over I'd spend the extra 40 dollars a month and keep my old service providers. Beware of Comcast.
