On January 4 I checked my bank account and realized there was an UNAUTHORIZED charge for 112.75 from Comcast. I never called to make the payment I'm not signed up for auto pay no one at Comcast can explain how this happened. Is there any reason why this router is working like this day and night especially when one is sleeping?? To top that off no one is using the internet at that time?? How do I know? One has to use the bathroom at time? Yes?? I am on Comcast Insider!!! I waited 10 minutes to downloading and then had to restart over again all it did the first time was spin. My elderly mother in law who is over 70 years old was slammed by Comcast they sold her the bundle deal then tied her up in a contract the problem is she do not know how to use a computer or don't even own one. Last time I re-upped with Comcast, I had decided I wanted to pay no more than I had been paying or else I would go elsewhere. I discussed with a sales person and made this clear. The sales person made sure the bill would be the same as in the past and my first bill conformed. The very next bill added fees that, when I complained, they said they were legally required. Don't do it!! I've dealt with many bad companies with customer services that can only be described as dreadful but, Comcast are by far the worst and no derogatory words can express just how bad. They fail to deliver on promises, tell blatant lies, refuse to answer simple questions e.g. why did the tech not show-up as planned? etc. Whoever you choose do not pick these cowboys. I HAVE NOT EVEN GOT MY INSTALL YET WITH COMCAST AND I AM ALREADY EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT IS SO TRUE WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Keep receiving a pop up stating that i need to contact them regarding a "Copyright Alert Action Required Mitigation Measure Applied"....have called several times and followed their directions....we dont download anything! Poor customer service and continuing issue!!!

Ridiculous interactions with Comcast customer service over cable and Internet last several months. Clueless. Give contradictory information. 2 hour wait for on-line chat.
