I recently received several phone calls and an angry letter from Comcast threatening to cancel my service because they claimed I did not pay my bill. My bank statement clearly shows that Comcast took my money. I have a confirmation email to prove it. When I called the Comcast Customer Service, I was spoken to like a thief. They were very rude and no one was willing to help me. I've faxed copies of my bill and bank statement illustrating that I paid what they claim I did not. To date, the issue is still not resolved. To the Comcast Customer Service poster, I was nice. I spoke in a calm, friendly voice and was still treated like a thief and was not helped. I am looking to cancel my service. I've been a loyal customer who has paid my bill on time for almost 2 years. After a problem with YOUR system, I'm being threatened. This is unacceptable.
Comcast is rip off
This new move to digital is nothing but a money maker for Comcast. They say they are giving away 2 adapters per house - but it is just another way for the further control your viewing and monitor what is being viewed. I decided I would pay for an extra HD-DVR - but I not only had to pay their advertised rate per month but then an additional fee for having more then 3 HD boxes (they don't advertise that). So now with their *** digital adapters I have ANOTHER remote that I have to use. They are out of control and just add fees on top of fees. I'll be looking at alternatives - but I think they have a pretty good monopoly.

Nov. 2009 I sent check #658 in the amount of $65.90, I have canceled check to cover subscription renewal for Lisa Morganweck, Dorothy Harada, Nancy Morganweck, Krystal Morganweck and mine, Shirley Furey. I have received multiple notices the subscription was expiring! Please give me a status on my account. (The check that I sent you was dated 11/28/09 and cashed by your company Dec 09.) Comcast in San Bruno, California - This company never ceases to amaze me how bad it is.
The conversion boxes are a joke. I needed 5 of them and none of them nor any of the cheap *** remotes worked properly. After being on the phone with people who spoke languanges I couldn't understand, and 2 hours later, they finally worked. Did I mention I had to pay for three of the boxes? What a rip off. Since then all 5 TV's are not operating properly, mostly missing channels. On the phone again today with non-english speaking customer service people who could not fix the problem so now I have to wait a week for a technician to come to the house. That after the guy tried to tell me to take all the boxes back to a Comcast center for repair (although given the cheap *** Comcast uses maybe they are all bad). At the end of the conversation he asked why I did not have Comcast phone service, NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS! My Comcast internet service is spotty at best and suffers all the time from weak signals, the rip off they effected with this conversion has created a revenue source that doesn't work and again penalizes the subscriber, their customer service stinks and you can't understand them (use Americans!) and oh by the way I just got my rate increase notice. Yea let me give them my phone service too and while your at it my healthcare. I told the guy I cannot wait for Verizon Fios so I can get rid of the Evil Empire from my house and even if they are worse, it can't be as bad as it is now. Sure the Roberts, Cohen's, Burke's and others get rich while the rest of us poor suckers suffer. I hope the NBC buyout is a disaster.
Comcast in Novato, California - Why can't I get decent service
First I am complaining that Your service is to expensive, and people like I on social security can't watch decent television, for we can't afford the outrageous prices. I know about the recession and the rising cost of things but that have nothing to do with anything for you have always been higher than any body else. Now how do other companies stay competitive and in business while having more channels and lower prices? I know the service is excellent for I had them for over 6 years with out a problem, and now that I have your service I am constantly calling for one thing are another. See I am on the *** of returning because I don't need the headache. Mavis P.S. 11 people have been out to my resident for one problem or another so now I want it fixed and no excuses on why it can't are wont work or passing of the buck, it is for to late in the game and I am tired, feed up and pissed to the highest passivity. I get a discount on Comcast teleworker service through my employer. This service is advertised at 16 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. The download has always been at least 16 Mbps, but the upload sucks at 860 kbps! Mind you, before I even get into the description of my...View full review
Comcast in Boston, Massachusetts - Service tech did not walk to my address.
Your Comcast service technician did not walk to my home address to notify me of his presence. He instead called me on my cell phone for his conviencence. Your employee did not offer me sufficient time to answer his phone call. He/she promptly left to service their next customer. When I returned his call, I spent nearly ten minutes trying to reconnect with a Comcast Representative. I then had to reschedule for another appointment later that same day. My day off waiting for a Comcast employee to do a job which could have been completed earlier if he/she got off their *** and walked to my home to complete their work assignment.
