Comcast Strikes Disabled Veterans
On June 19 I notified Comcast that my service was terminated June 1. I was moving to a smaller, more secure place. Last month I was billed and thought that they might catch up on their billing. Now I am told that someone is using cable at my old residence. Comcast said that is irrelevant and that I signed a contract (over two years ago!) and that it didn't matter whether I am using it or not! Now I am told that they will continue to charge me (as they did on July 27th) and will only reduce, not cancel my contract if I return certain equipment. I have just left hospital once more and am in no condition to unpack hundreds of boxes at their convenience. When life goes well, Comcast is your "friend", but if you are a disabled combat veteran you might as well go to *** where they are concerned. All I can do as ask my bank to rescind the charge.
Get Comcast services and get screwed !!!
There is no question that the people who work for Comcast are inefficient, incompetent, they lack knowledge and incentive to fix a problem because then they would have to show their lack of understanding of what the problem is. There are some people, like Daniel Lopez who used to work in Miami-Dade County (Fla.) but now "we don't perform that work any more" and now one is directed to XFinity who imposes a monthly charge in order to come out and perform service "on their own equipment." Comcast in Jackson, Mississippi - Hate hate hate them
We have gone round and round with these buffoons. Since digital our tv has been freezing up, sputtering audio, switching shows, records 17 minutes of a 60 minute show----many more things. Too numerous to name. Hours on the phone with these yahoos and no satisfaction. They have been out to our home 6 times since the first of the year. They WILL NOT take money off our bill. They have even tried to charge us for a service call. I HATE THEM. I pay over $200 a month for this ***. And now to top it off, I just got my FREE converter boxes for my other two tv's and I am worried about hooking them up after reading this. Such a crock. Then to top it off, when you call them, after holding for EVER, you talk some turd that transfers you and cuts you off and this bs starts all over again. Just got ATT in the neighborhood. Waiting to see how that turns out so perhaps there will be. Solution. Netflix has already jacked people.
Comcast Strikes Again!
I subscribed to new service, because I have moved, on 7/21/2011 with an install date of 7/26 between 12 - 2 PM. She told me that I needed to go to a service center or call a toll free number to verify my driver's license which makes no sense since I've had service with them in the past. I opted for the toll-free number, gave them the information the wanted and they said everything was set. I also confirmed that I no longer needed to go to a service center - they confirmed it was complete. 7/26/2011 - 2:30 PM no show. Called and she tells me she'll open a ticket with the install dept. and call me back. 5:30 PM - still waiting on that call. I called again, this time she tells me I need to go to a service center to verify my driver's license. Needless to say I'm pissed! Asked to speak to the supervisor and was told she'd have to forward my information to the supervisor and the supervisor would call me back. We'll see if that ever happens - I'm not holding my breath. This company continues to provide the same *** service like always! If I had a choice, I'd not be going to Comcast!
Comcast disconnected my Direct TV Service
I disconnected my Comcast Service in 2009 and have been with Direct TV for the past 2 years. On a Friday my cable service was interrupted, I called Direct TV and they came out on Sunday. After the Direct TV Tech. spent 1 hour trying to figure out the problem (usual it is the dish); he figured out that Comcast came on my property and placed a Comcast Lock on the box. The Direct TV Tech. removed the lock and restored my cable. I called Comcast on Monday and they have NO explanation and even had the nerve to say that Direct TV should NOT have cut their lock and my response was that Comcast should not have come into my backyard and put the lock on in the first place. I asked them why did they put the lock on in the first place and they had no explanation.
Dumb comcast or dumb americans
*** people who are complaining about comcast customer service who can't speak english well etc. comcast solution-hire americans. complainants' solution-get hired at comcast! dumb!

crapy services and not the worth the cost. I have had enough. I know that there is multiple people in this region that has had enough of comcast as well. all the endless phone calls the tech's comming out. time on the phone and waiting tech. appointments Adding to my contract and uping the amount on contract without my permission. taking away channels that are on contract wanting more money for them to give us customers what they promised and we the people have no say even when it is time to review enough is enough and enough is enough. when my contract is up, I am done. I am a woman of my word why can't they be a company is of their word even on paper? Check this, they usually can not find the problem does happens and when cause most the time is after hours. oh but the customer never knows cause we are the people and not lawyers.
My Computer was screwed by comcast tec. they will do nothing about it!
comcast empoloyee came to my house to install tv phone and internet. When he left I had no adobe reader, i had no norton secrity that i paid for this year!they will not help they lied to me telling me some would contact me and when i called back said the tec said i already had a vires all lies because ny norton would have told me! but now i can,t down load my printer dosn,t reconize my computer and can,t reinstall! they are not good!Very bad not happy they lied to me! ! ! ! ! ! ! Comcast The Most Hated!
Before I decided to get Comcast. Everyone warned me about how horrible their service was. I decided to try it anyway and wish I didn't. Everytime I turn around my internet isn't working, my house phone is having problems and my cable is out. One time my cable was out for 3 days and they gave me a credit of five *** dollars! If im paying d*mn near $196.00 per month for phone, cable and internet I expect my services to work 99% of the time! What a rip off. Time for Verizon! Whooo Hooo
