Comcast in Rockford, Illinois - NOT for Business

We went to Comcast to save money. Opposite effect! First they fried our phone system by installing their equipment wrong and backfeedng the signal. Then they refused to take responsibility and referred me to their subcontractor. Then it took over a week to get our phones numbers ported over so we had no company phones. Funny things was, all we had to say was that we were trying to switch over to Comcast and everyone was understanding (I guess they already knew how bad Comcast was). That should have chased us of their service butt we decided to stick with it since it was so difficult to switch all communications over. Now, their equipment had failed and we are waiting for days for a tech. We are a business that is basically shut down without internet and phones. We were told a tech will be here between 10 and 12 today, however, that turned out to be incorrect. The 2 hour windows are for residential customers, business customer windows are actually 4 hours! So the people relying on the service to be reliable for their literal livelihoods are less important! I am posting this via my cell phone - that is how sick and tired I am of Comcast! If you are considering them for your company's service, do so at your own peril!

COMCAST IS THE WORST ISP EVER!!! I have paid and paid and paid and my balance just keeps going up. They tell me they returned payment even though they never return the payment! Thieves! Comcast tells me to call my bank and my bank says that Comcast took the payment and never returned it. My bank even stated I wasn't the first person to fall victim to Comcast STEALING. Every time I go to a store or call they tell me they are unable to resolve my issue and direct me to someone else. They will turn my service back on for the time being just to get me off the phone or out of the store. So I have service for a day or 2 then it goes off again and i'm back to square 1. My bill is now up to $454!!! Eventho I have made a payment of $124.96 2 times a month for the last 3 months ($749.76 HMM I'M NOT A MATHEMATICAL GENIUS BUT I SEE AN ISSUE HERE). Not to mention every time they reinstate my service they charge me reactivation fees even though they admit it is an error on their end. In short they are stealing my money and telling me to take it up with the bank. Moreover, after being transferred 5 times a lady suggested I go to an atm drive out of my way to a store and pay in cash and to remember the employee who I gave the cash to and keep the receipt. Am I buying drugs or paying for an Internet Service Provider??I will not rest until someone can help me. I WILL POST ON EVERY PAGE AND EVERY WEBSITE UNTIL I HAVE AN ACCOUNT CREDIT. Comcast - Can't Even Order PPV

Comcast's customer service via telephone is horrible to say the least! We can't even purchase PPV programs without calling and having a representative manually connecting it for us. To make it worse, the person we spoke with tonight had NO CLUE on how to do this, so we had to cancel our order! We are VERY unhappy with Comcast, and we are searching for another cable provider. I've been a loyal customer for many years, but this has to stop! If I could have left zero stars, I would have!

Two Year Contract with Comcast

I have a two year contract agreement with comcast. The representative from comcast told me that my monthly payment is $158 +. The 2nd month they overcharge me and my bill was $249.58. After complaining to them , they flow rate the overcharges and my bill was less for 3 months. After that, for seven months I was paying $158 +. Then it goes up to $163+ for the next 4 months. This June my bill is $169+, and I talked to comcast representative whats the reason. She told me that the cost of rental dvr box is reason, since the promotion offer expired and expected my bill for July 2017 will be $176+. My contract will expired next January 2018, hope and pray Spectrum Cable will be here at that time.

Comcast - I feel sorry for the Customer Service Reps

Comcast sets themselves up for failure. All I wanted was the internet. I was going to do the self-install, but I only got two wires without the box. With seven o clock only half an hour away, I quickly tried to call the service center near me to pick one up. It took me 8 calls to figure out that they do not have a number for the service center!!! It is a SERVICE center!!!! The automated response system is awful. I only wanted a phone number but I started to get advice from a robot about how to plug in my box that never got to me. Oh, but they didn't forget to send a little notice about how I will be charged 10 dollars more if I don't switch to paper-free. I was finally met by an agent who gave me the exact same number I had just called. After spending an hour on the phone, they still could not switch me to paperfree. The service reps have absolutely no power and are there just to get screamed at. Anyways they were nice enough to waive the shipping and handling cost for the second box. If comcast didn't have reps ask for you information just after the robot did, i would have been so much better off. It took forever to get a simple thing done. I can't even imagine getting anything installed for me.

Details
Comcast deleted 11k of my emails. Assured me they were still on the server and would be no problem to restore them. After countless hours on the phone they didn't know why but they were deleted by Comcast and they are forever gone. I am really screwed now and Comcast does not care at all about this. Monopolies do what they do. Need regulation here is my feeling.

Comcast - Lowered My Plan

Due to the high price Comcast was billing me, over $200 a month I lowered my plan down to a manageable price I could handle. Since than I have virtually no screens! Even when I click on search and type in a movie I would like to watch I am automatically ask if I would like to Upgrade My Service. When I say no then I do not get to watch the movie! Some of these movies are very old! I clicked on the very first Dracula movie and was denied access! Regardless how old the movie is I do not get to watch! This is their way of trying to get customers to upgrade their service to a much higher plan. As soon as my two year contract expires I will definitely be leaving Comcast! Even when I lowered my bill I still received the higher bill. So after calling several times I finally got the correct bill. Then they charged me a reconnect charge because I refused to pay until I got the bill corrected.
