Yesterday 12/29/2017 I was expecting a technician to come to my house to help move my cable to a different location, essentially just running some cable wire through the walls, things I don't have the tools or skills to do. The tech was supposed to arrive between 8am and 10am. 9am I get an automated call saying that I had missed my appointment. Evidently the technician didn't want to bother with my house, probably because I live in a poor neighborhood and whitebread is scared of getting out of his van in the hood. But still, I called the customer service twice and they never could get ahold of the tech or give me an answer as to why he never showed up, wasted my whole morning and have nothing to show for it

So I contacted the online chat of xfinity/Comcast due to not having my password to log on ti our account and make changes. Well my husband is the accoujnt holder which I get. But I have a power of attorney because he is in the navy and can't be here all the time. And any one who has a brain knows that will give me the right to control anything he has. Well the grazel wouldn't even listen to me having it. I even said why haven't you offered for me to send you it if you don't believe me? And I got the same pasted answer he was giving me the whole t8me we chatted. Every time i got the same message to everything I asked! So that made me mad! So than I started chatting with a supervisor who did the same exact thing! After saying your not helping me or telling me anything that will help me he is deployed and obviously can't do this himself?? She goes well you have optional after talking to them for probably an hour! I said and what are those options cuz the only one they gave me was him to call and add me on account! Which since I said many times he is deployed and yet that was the response everytime! She finally tell me I could go in with the paper. One I have been talking to you f9r how long telling you I had this and you just decide not to tell me this in the first place!! That literally was it for me. Nor did she offer for me to email them this so they could see it help me and put it on file?? Everywhere else does that?? I just did it with navy federal and usaa. It's a power of attorney which lets me act as him when he isn't here!! On top of that I have talked on behalf of his account before !! I also have the chat case id if she gave me the right id at least if you would like it. This is the worst company constantly having problems with them and that just did it for me. Once my husband gets back we are switching. Only reason I'm not right now is because I don't know what speed we need. Oh and the manager name is kristina I Believe it was something along those lines. My husband is in the navy and risk his life for everyone. And this is how we are treated??? Like I understand he can't be here and that's his fault that is why we got a power of attorney. And I was pretty sure I was on the account cuz like I said I talked to someone before this so Idk what is wrong with that company but they suck! I hope actions are done because apparently this company is not military friendly!

Have lost services for 6 months with rebooting request ? $20 credit. They Rewired entire house 12/13/2017 inside &!outside Service man left with no service, 6 hour service call. Still major problems. And cannot get a follow up service call for 4 days?

Worst customer service | Comcast review

They tried to do a software update at 1:20am when I was watching a movie. Has error message on software update. Got online with tech support and after trying several things he couldn't fix problem. Next thing I know he is gone. So I start all over with another online rep did all the same things and nothing worked and he disappeared without notice. Try a third time and all the same tests didn't work this person said you need higher up tech support and was going to connect me to them. Again disconnected. 1:20am to 3:30am nothing resolved. I called this morning to speak with a live rep who I explained everything and told them I need higher level of tech support and she refused to put me thru. I asked for her supervisor and she hung up on me. Called back to get another person who says they don't handle cable only Internet and phone. Got transferred to cable dept asked if she was higher level tech support and she said yes. We did all the same tests without it working. She then wants to send me a new box in the mail. Then she tells me she will notify higher level tech support. She lied telling me she was. Now no cable still.

Cable in my YARD | Comcast review

I have had a cable running on the ground from one side of my yard to the other - AKA across my driveway, sidewalk, even into the road (since the cable is so long). I've called 3 times to put in work orders. They keep getting cancelled. I know at least two Comcast reps have been out to my house to look at it. The cable IS A HAZARD. We can't mow the lawn. We (and lots of other neighbors) walk our dogs, kids ride their bikes, and neighbors take walks ACROSS THE CABLE. Oh, and I forgot to mention ... IT'S NOT EVEN FOR MY SERVICE - IT'S FOR MY NEW NEIGHBOR. Been there since August. It's now the week before Christmas. I've received no phone calls from Comcast to check in with me. No one knocked on my door when the cable was installed.
