After months and months I have say Comcast is terrible
Comcast has been the worst internet and phone service provider I have ever used and I am an experienced user. If there is another choice for TV, Internet or phone services my advice is to go with it. Customer service from the Philippines is friendly but powerless to get anything done. We have had service issues for a year and I've been patient but they promise promise and never come through. The internet goes down or is extremely slow practically ever day. TV loses sound because bandwidth is so bad. Ive gone to the supervisor level and get promises that regional engineering is going to contact us and come up with a solution and it NEVER HAPPENS; Im not talking about the solution I saying they never even contact us. It is unbelievably bad, worst service ever!
Comcast's Horrible Customer Service
After getting a rate plan set up, it goes up within a few months. Call to get it back to what was promised and then they want you to pay pro rated for what time it had gone higher and then after it is "fixed" it now runs 6 more a month that it was. Agents that set up the original agreement and gave me their id numbers cannot be contacted and no one can transfer me to them for help. Online chat people disconnect the chat without fixing the problem, one I was chatting with when somehow my internet service went out conveniently for 5 minutes. Worst CS on planet Earth.
Comcast in Salinas, California - Xfintiy wifi is garbage
Comcast is always bragging on tv about how xfinity wifi is supposed to be fast. It's slow! It's absolutely horrible. It took me about 5 minutes to get to this page and finally be able to start writing this. The wifi range is the worst also. The modem is on the living which is no further than 15 feet from my room, and the signal I get in my room is absolutely the worst. I have to be close to the door to get a fair connection. If you're planning on getting Comcast, DON'T!!!! I DON'T RECOMEND IT AT ALL, YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Comcast in Avenel, New Jersey - Worst Customer Service
For more than 4 days my internet speed was quite slow so I decided to do a speed test at speedtest.comcast.net. Surprisingly my speed was 0.41Mbps when it is supported to be atleast 4Mbps. I called the customer service guys and told him about the speed test result. He started asked me if my internet is working. I asked him if he has a slight clue what internet is and how it works. I just did a speed test on comcast. I asked him if I can speak to the manager and he transferred me to the main menu. I called back twice and the call got hangup on its own. This is the worst service I've ever used in my life. *** yourself comcast.
Comcast in Venice, Florida - Why don't I get the "Ellen" show? Can't get answer
I don't get "Ellen" (DeGeneres) or "Katie" (Couric) on my TV. All my neighbors get these shows, which are on major networks. I can't get an answer from Comcast. The automatic phone system I get either kicks me off, starts all over so I have to re-enter my basic info, or gives me a tech person who doesn't know what he's talking about. Sounds like they're reading a script. Comcast "service" is an oxymoron. I've called 4 times just today and get put on hold for a long time and then disconnected. It's very frustrating not to get an answer. I already pay for Comcast in my I homeowner common charges, but I'd switch to Verizon in a minute. I may see if I can get my community to switch. Seems nobody is in charge to talk to about local issues.
Comcast - Returned Equipment - Still got charged for failing to return it

Comcast in Marietta, Georgia - Poor service
I chatted with the representative online and purchased cable service. I went to pick up the hddvr box from the service center at Delk Road, Marietta, GA and had to wait for an hour. The rep at the service center was not pleased that I had purchased online and not through him....because he is working on commissions. When I went home and tried to activate the cable over the phone as guided, the person on the phone said that my box was not added to my account and I have to make the trip all the way back to the service center to ensure that my box is replaced or added to the list.
Comcast in Arlington Heights, Illinois - Over charging
I was a 20 year plus customer- and a good one. Never late on payment, over $200/month user. I had a service issue with internet. They apparently fixed the issue remotely without telling me. The service man came out and told me it was fixed before he got there- Great, right? Not really, they then sent me a bill for $60 for the service call. I refused to pay it- they refused to credit it. So, I dropped my service. Now they have turned me over to collection. This is not a company you want to do business with. It's sad, as they are the best at offering services
Comcast is too big for their own good
Comcast Very long story as short as i can make it: 1. Wanted to upgrade from basic cable 2. Decided to order the devices to do so only because I was given 30 days trial with no obligation- little did I know that that 'no obligation' would come to *** me in the *** 3. A very arrogant technician walked into my home leaving garbage and debris in each place he worked setting up our new very large boxes and equipment 4. Day 24 of the 30 days I decided that the upgrade was not worth the money, as I was still constantly flicking through the channels saying " Nothing good is on", so I called and "cancelled" 5. During this "cancellation" I was told I had 10 days to return all of the equipment, which I did on day 7 6. Returning the equipment was not as horrible as I expected, after being warned from numerous friends that I would be there all day. I waited approximately 40 min, but felt bad for others in the store that looked like they had been camped out for days 7. I got my receipt from returning the equipment, and went home thinking that was the end...nope, DEAD WRONG 8. Bill #1: $318.34 bill arrived in the mail (mind you, I've never received a bill from them before, as I pay a flat rate to my condo association every month as it is included in our condo fees) 9. Called customer service to see why I revived a bill 10. Much waiting, transferring, repeating of personal information and the situation, finally the customer service rep stated that the services were never "cancelled". She sees in the notes where I had called to cancel and puts me on hold to find out why it was never "cancelled", well she can't figure it out so goes ahead and "cancels" it for me again and assures me I will not be receiving anymore bills. 11. Bill #2: $480.38 I'm laughing now, like a crazy person 12. The next day my cable has been disconnected 13. I do the customer-circus again, call, transfer two dozen times, repeat my name address phone number and the situation two dozen times and again talk to someone in billing who says my services have not been "cancelled" 14. I'm in the twilight zone at this point, literally beg to speak to a supervisor and of course I cannot until I am transferred , and out of fear that I will be hung up on and will have to repeat my address one more time, I try my absolute hardest not blow my temper. So I try again to explain the situation, and the rep gives me a confirmation number stating that he had brought my balance to zero and that my cable would be turned on- and it did- until the next day when it was disconnected again. 15. After another customer-circus and crying on the phone, yes I was in tears out of pure frustration, I was told that the confirmation number I was given was only a prorated amount and "this time" it should be fixed to zero and the cable would come back on in 24 hours, we shall see... Comcast has grown too big for their own good. With massive wait lines in their service centers and exorbitant hold times on the phone, only to transfer you numerous times and repeat your personal information every time only to talk to someone who assures you they are taking care of your issue, and find out later that it has not; repeat this cycle 3 more times for a total of 4 1/2 hours of holding, repeating my name, address and phone number more than anyone can count, it's no wonder why Comcast has terrible customer service ratings. I wish I could do something more than just write a review, I wish I could ask the CEO if he would be ok with his family and friends having to go through all this ridiculousness just for *** cable.
