Comcast - Ripoffs
(PLEASE KEEP THIS GOING) I'm actually going through an issue with Comcast myself!!! They offered us a great package, according to them around $67.99 a month after taxes, & 3 free months of premium channels. My first bill was $300 & something dollars, my next two were around $175.00. When we called we got transferred and disconnected on several occasions. When we finally got through, we decided to cancel service since we weren't getting answers. The customer solutions representative then told us we were under a signed contract and couldn't cancel without an early termination fee. We told her we wanted a copy of it because we didn't sign anything, she proceeded to say "it was a verbal contract over the phone" and her supervisor would have to listen to the conversation and get back to us! Not to mention we have to take their word for it! Almost 4 months later, no one has bothered to get back to us, and when we call, we get transferred, then disconnected!!! We finally gave in and paid the early termination fee because Comcast decided to disconnect our internet service (which we've been paying every month!!!). I hope everyone shares this post, I would really love my money back (all of it). I've emailed the media, I hope I can get somewhere!!!
Comcast dishonest, a monopoly, liars
I have repeatedly attempted to get Comcast to change my billing date because I have only social security and because my check is not deposited in my bank until the third Wednesday of the month (SS administration deposits checks according to your birthday), I cannot make my payment on the 2nd of the month which is what Comcast demands. Thus they keep hitting me with "late fees" which have astronomically increased my payment. I don't even own a television, I have only a laptop computer, yet my bill has now soared to $108.00 for one month of internet service. I refuse to keep playing this game with these idiots and will simply have them disconnect internet, will drop off their *** equipment at their service center, and will take my computer to Starbucks to use wireless there. Thieves.
Comcast has done the bait and switch
Comcast xfinity has done the bait and switch on all of its customers. I originally signed up for the triple play service with comcast. This plan offered tv,phone, and internet for one price. I n December 2014, Comcast decided to put a cap on it's internet service, which was unlimmited when I signed up. Since the change I have been charged hundreds of dollars in overage charges. They can not tell me if the overages is me or someone iileagally taping into my service. They claim that i'm using over 2000gb in internet ever month, which is crazy. They also state that it is not their problem how its being used. They are rude and disrespectful to their customers and offer no resulotion. I was told to open up a business account with them, even though I'm not a business, I'm a residental customer. I feel as if I'm being extortated by this company. The worst part is they have my comunity monopolized and there is not other company that offers their speed. Please help.
Comcast in Memphis, Tennessee - Billing SNAFU/FUBAR
I have been a Comcast customer for 5 years, paying over $200 a month for cable and internet, and have paid my bills on time, like a slot machine. In April of 2014, I ordered MLS Direct Kick sports package. The service did not come through my cable box. I called back seven (7) times. Each time a signal was re-sent. Each time the signal was re-sent, I was billed another $79.00 which was the charge for the service for a year. I found out at my monthly billing, that my bill was $732.26. After multiple phone calls, I was told that my bill was actually $139.76 not $732.26. This month, same thing happened, only a higher bill, and I did not order any new services, nor get the signal re-sent. My bill is $886.16 for one month. When I called to ask about this bogus figure, all I got was a "ticket number" again. I will have to go through the same time-wasting ordeal, to get my bill back down to its ordinary $219. Comcast has gotten so large and so impersonal and inept. To top it all off, my Comcast email does not work. I have two other email accounts, iCloud.com and securenym.net, which both work flawlessly. I can not get my Comcast account to send to anyone other than a Comcast email address. Go figure.
Comcast in New Kensington, Pennsylvania - Modem fried
The modem was fried and they said it will be fix with-in 24 hours (On phone) but nope it was fried and gone the computer/modem/Netgear router last year we had a big thunderstorm and it took the power out and every thing so Comcast came near my house to do something I ask one of the guys to check out the router they were like we can not do that we do not have a appointment with you so we can not see it sorry they said. And man I was pissed to the max they did not help one bit.

Positive Experience Review
I personally love comcast. Whenever I call my issues is resolved asap. They have the best sevices and my x1 box is life-changing...yes I may have issues but no more then any other company I have been with. For the amount of sevices they offer im more then happy to give comcast my money plus ita better then dish or direct tb any day
Comcast bad Customer Services
We switch from Direct TV to Comcast on April 09, 2014. We received our first bill 2 days later for $208, which include installation fee and first month. We called to have them removed the extra that we didn't request and every time they add something else on the account. They refuse to fix their bill. They insist that we pay the bill and they will credit our account. What kind of none sense is that? Even though we call multiple times to have their service disconnected, Comcast claims that they can't cut their services. When finally someone decided to disconnected the service, it took another 2 weeks for the service to get disconnected. Between April 3th to May25th, I have a bill from Comcast for $415.00. I am still waiting for a corrected bill for over two weeks now.
Comcast in Grawn, Michigan - No Customer Service
My 2 phone lines, Internet, and cable TV with Comcast stopped working 2 days ago. After 2 hours, 7 phone calls (I was dropped 4 times, waited 45 minutes on hold another time) and multiple trouble-shooting actions on my end, I was told it will take 4 days before they can send a tech. They wanted me to talk to different people for each of the services. I had to insist on a tech call because everything is out. They offer no explanations, support, empathy or concern. I need service for a business I run out of my home, but get nothing but excuses from Comcast. For this I pay premium prices. Thanks for nothing.
Comcast in Richmond, Virginia - Charged $74.99 for Maywether fight which I never ordered!!!!
I have spent two hours on the phone today trying to get this straightened out. They have no record that I ordered it, the Maywether fight sometime in May but they insist I watched it! I"m fifty and don't stay up that late. I also have no interest in boxing or any other sports on TV. I watch old lady shows for crying out loud! My 4 yr old grandson sure didn't watch it or order it. I mean it's SO insulting the way they talk to you. I can't believe I pay money to a company every month so they can be condescending to me. I have already cut my service in half so I guess now just cut it down to zero? I know if I cancel they will claim I never did just like what happened when I moved and keep right on billing me. How do they sleep at night knowing they lie to everyone? They will tell you there is no supervisor available because they want you to give up and pay money you don't owe! It's stealing, unethical and they should be embarrassed.
