Comcast - Employee

I've worked for comcast for 17 yrs and I'm really really disgusted by what I'm seeing around me with a co- worker. She's a new tech by the name of sandy she just transferred here for a previous comcast location. I'm digusted with her actions toward another co- worker. I've been married 24 yrs and to see a married women acting like she is toward another co-worker is disappointing. We uphold code and ethics and take pride in comcast. I'm afraid if her gallivanting continues with the co- worker this will result in a bad review from comcast due to such things as sexual haressment against the company. I hate to bring this to your attention but this cannot be tolerated especially if its happening at the work place thru emails or text messaging I hope this matter can be brought to your attention professionally and swiftly. This makes an unhealthy environment for other employees and if spouse was to figure this out could meen also trouble thank you for the time and felt I had to bring this to HR to handle the situation before it gets to far out of hand. Thank you for your time concerned employee.

Comcast - Very very very poor service and all lies

Service was scheduled to be turn on 5/4/13 between the hours of 8am and 10am the Comcast rep came out and installed the svc with no communication on nothing he was doing. He did a great job a with leaving big mess in every room, leaving loose wires all over the place running across bedroom floors making it dangerous for my 1 and 4 year old daughter to fall and hurt themselves. He also left loose wires outside where the neighborhood kids can trip and fall if they came in our yard. Rep also has wires running in our neighbors yard as well without their knowledge. He left without explaining internet, remote, etc. After rep left, we talked to 6 supv PROMISING they would get someone back out here same day so we caoulf pay our mortgage online before the deadline which would result in 150.00 late fees, Comcast said not to worry amd assured us a rep would come back out here that same day so that we could pay our bills. As of 5/5/13 @ 11:30, we are still waiting on that tech to show up with no explaination as to why he/she hasnt come out. PLEASE CONTACT US! Carlos Sampson 713-306-4658

Comcast shady billing practices and *** customer service

I bought my own Motorola DocSIS 3.0 cable Modem in 2010. For some reason they keep trying to claim my modem is owned by them. According to the rep I just chatted with, they never corrected the ownership listing in the billing part of the system the last time I dealt with this, over a year ago. If they weren't the only game in town for hi-speed internet I would have dropped them the month after this started, way back in 2011!!!! I can't understand why their billing system/auditors doesn't check with their inventory system on equipment. They could just as easily NOT be charging someone for equipment Comcast owns as they can charge for equipment a customer owns. Bad system integration, they need to fix it so their CSR's and customers don't have to deal with all the headaches!!!

Comcast does not honor 30 days money back promise.

My first comcast internet experience is really an unpleasant one. The service was installed on 02/11/2013 at 6 PM. But due to many times of failing to resolve some billing disputes (one of them was the service protect plan that I never authorized), I had to call their resolution team to cancel the service on 03/13/2013 at 2PM. They finally agreed to remove the over charges on 4/30/2013, after over a dozen times of phone calls and chattings. But they refused to pay me back my first month's payment, even though the service was within the first 30 days.

Comcast - No customer service

You can call all day and the customer service line will never connect you to a real person but it will take a few minutes before it tells you this and automatically disconnects you so you waste even more time. There is no way to find a phone number to call a store directly, only the 800 number that never connects you. If you decide to try to use the live chat with one of their employees they won't be able to speak English or help you with anything except to tell you to call the 800 number. All I want to do is cancel my service. I'll never be going back. Comcast is one of the least customer friendly companies I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Get direct tv or dish or some other provider. Anything would be an improvement over this.

Comcast COLLECTIONS

Comcast owed us $100 approx. from an account disconnected and guess what, they continue billing us for the closed account. they then put us in collections for the account they were billing which did not exist. They still had not credited us the $100. After battling with them and the collection agency for months we resolve this. Then they do this a second time and now we are being denied loan for going back to school because of their carelessness. My husband school starts in 1 month and he may loose his admission and his entire career because of them. This is what you get for wanting Cable and internet. Highly unprofessional company. They always messed up our bills. We always had to spend hours each month with them to get it corrected. They surely have a law suit coming their way.

Comcast - Disregarding written price agreement

On March 14,2013 I received my bill from Comcast and it had almost doubled so I called customer service and told them I wanted to cancel. The CS rep said they would upgrade my package and internet service for about $90. I said ok and two hours later I received a confirmation e-mail with the agreed price. Next month I got the same high bill that I complained about. I ended up taking a copy of my e-mail to the comcast office and basically was told they would not honor the price I was promised but would give me another price that wasn't even as good as I had then. They told me this in a message left on my phone and then without me agreeing to the new package deal which was worse than I had, they downgraded my package and charge me $30 for breaking my contract and gave me a lot worse package for more money than I had before I called them. They refused to honor a written agreement between me (a Customer ) and them.

Comcast - Direct sales rep, arassed, discriminated & retaliated against for speaking up about discrimination and apparent fraud

I worked in the direct sales department knocking about 13,000 doors in mostly saturated territories (employed there a year and six months, felt I was basically forced out)only to find out over time that there were secret projects and events that I was never told about. I was isolated in the field so I didn't have a clue for some time the tremendous advantages others were being afforded. Some direct sales reps were making 150,000 a year and more. The knock formula was knock 70 doors a day get a sale. What, were they knocking 500 doors a day or something? I was out trying to do that every day (and there were plenty of days that I actually knocked that many and more) not knowing that others were being handed referrals and prime turf opportunities where new broadband was(such as Caroline, Stafford, Louden Spotsylvania, Prince William, county Virginia) being laid, in order to keep their sales numbers up and through the roof (solidifying their employment I believe)and their wallets fat. I'm not blaming all the sales staff (although some appear to be participating in various ways), as management was supposed to be the ones responsible for distributing territory equitably. Early on, I was told not to knock homes in close proximity(i.e apartments) and that's a long story. I knocked single family doors in 110 degree heat index as best I could (going in and out of buildings dripping sweat), heavy winds, rain, snow, thunder, ice and still managed to keep my sales numbers up over the required levels. As the months passed I started to discover these secretive projects and events and asked to be on one of them (I believe my contract was breached, as I was supposed to be an Events and Sweeps Representative (I did a lot of Winback work as well, I was assigned that territory)and was being isolated in inferior/saturated territory. The wheels were set in motion to get me out,as I now knew and was asking to be treated with at least some level of fairness. The wheels appeared to be in motion anyway because I was neither friend, kin, nor other. They actually did not appreciate my hard work, and my sales talent and great customer service skills (yes, I cared about the customers). I was just in the way now. And then my performance appraisal was tampered with-to put it nicely. That was devastating after how hard I had worked. After I realized that HR and upper management/leadership were going to do NOTHING to help me,in fact, they were participating in making matters worse,I felt the safest thing for me to do was to give notice(I had filed a formal harassment and discrimination complaint)and file an EEOC, as more happened and I got the message loud and clear. And they had tried to put me on a stage, saying that my "numbers" were not high enough.I had enough sense not to sign that I agreed with that ridiculous, inaccurate form. Over the time I was there I had watched as people half my age dropped out. I never called in sick and never really complained(a couple of times I made some reflective comments about happenings and observations in the field)about doing my work as I was more than physically able to do my job effectively(an older, woman with intestinal fortitude)and so I did.

Just got my sevice on, after a week an a half, payed my bill about a week an a half early. Now my Cable television is off, I talked to two tech's who acted like they were sworn to secrecy an couldn't help me at all.

I couldn't speak to a supervisor, where's the honesty. They waited until I payed my bill to pull this ***. So I guess your damned if you pay on time, before time, or after time meaning being late. What's going on with these Cable companies is pathetic, they get away with murder.

They are a bunch of *** artist, that needs to be brought down.we need new Cable companies if they had more competition maybe they wouldn't pull half of that *** that they do pull. Who regulates them & their actions, because it seems like they just do their own thing whatever they say goes even though they can lie in a heart beat, while there's no repocustions.

I mean really everything should have checkef out, from the beginning, I find out something is wrong and I have no idea what it could be, the say just come to Comcast with iD , but why is a secret it this some kind of set up or something? What the heck is going on?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are having a similar experience with Comcast and their age discrimination policies in the North East sales and support organizations. Do you know if there are any attorneys who are currently pursuing a class action law suit against Comcast for their discrimination against older workers?

Comcast has the worst service and even worst customer service

Tomorrow will be exactly 3 months I've had this service and it has been nothing but problems from day one. I have had to call them every week for service issues, two replaced boxes, 8 days without service on one box and the technicians have been to my home at least four times. Today was the final straw. The same box they replaced last month is out again and I was told it would be 6 days before they could replace the box. I ask to speak to a supervisor to see about getting someone out earlier and the rep told me I could not speak with anyone and I could not be placed on hold until the next supervisor was available. Needless to say the rep told me he was going to disconnect the call and he did. I tried so hard to be patient but like they say you get what you pay for and I got was a TERRIBLE service and a major headache. Its back to Directv for me.

you should be charged for the replacement of the boxes! you obviously have an electrical problem in your home that is burning up the boxes.

once they are bench tested and electrical fault is found , you will be charged hundreds of dollars for burning up comcast property with your faulty home electrical system. stop calling comcast and call an electrician before your house burns up next.

Comcast - Whole-Home DVR

Recently moved and was told there was no clear line of sight for my satellite. Forced to order Comcast. Negotiated "whole-home" DVR service. I have 4 TVS. I received 4 DVRS in the mail. HA! I guess that is their idea of whole home DVR service. Only problem, each DVR comes with a $20 rental fee. I asked why didn't they just install the real whole-home service? I was told it is not available in my area. I said then don't negotiate one thing and then send another. Not only are their boxes gigantic but they are really ugly as well with an bright old-fashioned huge pale orange display. End of story? I cut down a tree and now I have Direct TV again. Beautiful high-tech cool blue panel on front panel. Noticeable? Yes, but in an AWESOME way. Bill is half what Comcast wanted. Guide display is years ahead of Comcast. Bottom Line? Comcast needs to at MINIMUM follow Direct TV if they wanna compete in the TV-service market. Note: I kept Comcast internet, that service is AMAZING!

Moved to this rental community that has exclusive contract with Comcast. They won`t let us have Dish, Direct, Verizon or BrightHouse.

Comcast service sucks. Service, channels or internet is always going down. They don`t care when you call `cause we can`t go anywhere else. They don`t return calls or they tell us it`s not their problem.

At my wits end. Will move after my lease expires.

Comcast charges to get router password.

I recently switched my services on Comcast, I wanted to switch to AT&T because of the cheaper rates but I decided to stay. Comcast gave me a new router for my internet service, but they did not provide the password or modem name. When I called to get the password because none of the passwords on the router was working they offered to charge me to retrieve the password to the router THEY provided. They should have provided the password with the router, but they decide to charge me for it. Great. I opted out to pay the fee and used my old router. Comcast has to have the worst customer service, what kind of company charges extra for information they should have already provided!

Comcast - I hate this company!

My internet has bee up and down hundreds of times over the last five months. Comcast told me to buy a new modem and it still doesn't work. They rerouted a cable and left it sprawled across my yard for the last two months in an attempt to fix the problem, but it still dsn't work. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM!! I am in jeopardy of losing my job because I need to work from ho!me. I was just left on indefinite hold and after van hour, was hung up on. Worst customer service ever! I hate that I am stuck with them.

Comcast - Cancellation NIGHTMARE!!

I called to cancel service, asked if I was going to another provider, "yes, more services LESS MONEY!" Well, we can reduce your cost - really, you've had 5 yrs to do it, why wait until I'm leaving?? Sent a box for equipment to be returned, was supposed to have return postage, did not, cost $12 to send back. Within the week a COLLECTION AGENCY started calling and has called THREE TIMES despite giving them the tracking number on first call. Just talked to NON-Customer Support - it takes up to FORTY FIVE, yes 45, DAYS for the equipment to be tracked and processed once received!!! Then why is a collection company calling me when I've told you (idiots) and the company "here's the tracking number, shows was delivered TWO WEEKS AGO!?!?" "I'm sorry ma'am, it takes up to 45 days to process..." Then tell those people to STOP CALLING ME IF YOUR PROCESS IS THE HOLD UP!!! DESPISE THIS COMPANY!! If there are other options, go with them...HORRIBLE!! Cost of postage and TWO HOURS OF MY TIME.

I hate Comcast

Seriously, I have had Comcast for twenty years, but because of their monopoly in my county, I am screwed. My only other options are Verizon DSL...yes, remember dial-up ISPs at 0.5-1.5Mbps?...or satellite internet at a mindblowing 10Gbps and an equally mindblowing price tag. It is like a bad marriage in a country where divorce is illegal. And their customer service surveys? They know we hate them, the survey clearly states "you are rating the poor sap who works for us at below minimum wage, and not us greedy bastards in management who rob you blind for *** services."

I will be leaving Comcast Xfinity as soon as possible! My typical bill is over $250 per month.

I've been with them for over 12 years. That's $36,000 paid to them - and probably another 12 years I would have been with them. Long story short. Serive was out for a long time - like 3 weeks.

They just reimbursed me for the time that it was out. I wanted another $100 for my time and higher cell bill since the internet/wifi was out. They would not do it. IDIOTS!

All my past revenue, future revenue - none of it mattered to them. I am sure it will cost them more than $100 to find a replacement for me.

Really poor business sense!

I'm so happy - I get to tell them what I think of them by leaving! See ya, Comcast!

I just took Comcast to Small claims Court an I revived a judgement against them for $140 Court cost plus $1,000.00 and they are required to remove any negative information from my credit that was about $85 Total judgement $1,225.00.

The great thing is I know have a judgement against Comcast so the next people who want to sue can look up this case. (Comcast offered to settle for removing the $85 collection amount!) I obviously turned down such a lame offer!

Do not let people tell you you do not have a case and do not go to arbitration this is a waste of time! Get a judgement if you can for any amount if enough people do this things might change!

I spoke to a couple of attorney who said I would not prevail and Comcast told me I did not have a case.

GUESS WHO WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway I hope this helps

(Stop putting up with such bad service!)

Comcast/Xfinity is one if thee worst monopolies on the face of the earth! Talk about too big to fail.

Price gouging, "do it yourself" service policies, horrible robotic customer service methods. This company is the only provider in our neighborhood, therefore we are slaves to their abuse. Government officials acting on behalf of the people need to stop these companies from taking over competition and preventing healthy competitive services so people have choices and have SOME control over these out-of-control companies. Comcast needs to be regulated as they have abused their endless power over customers who have no choices.

The government needs to stop allowing mergers of these massive entities. Why do they keep allowing them to grow to the point where they enslave whole communities, apt.

buildings, and other developments. If you have a choice, choose wisely & go elsewhere or you too, will become a slave to Comcast/Xfinity.
