Comcast in Maplewood, Minnesota - Home Security people never showed up for appointment

I was interested in getting a couple of security cameras but wasn't sure what I needed. The retail person "Felicia" offered to send a couple of Comcast people out to make recommendations. She set the appointment for the next day between 10 and 12. She said they would call before coming. I waited...no call and they didn't show up. At 1:30 I called "Felicia" (866=947-5573 ext 1242139) and got her answering service saying she was unavailable. I called again around 3 and still she's "unavailable". So I called another # I had: 855-231-5578, and the woman I talked to told me that my appointment had been cancelled at 1:50 and she wasn't able to find out why. She kept putting me on hold, trying to get hold of "retail". I was on the phone with her for 43 minutes (the last 15 minutes with no reply). I finally hung up. Guess I'll have to go with another company.

Comcast - Bad Customer Service Review

I am mentally ill and have been getting jerked around by Comcast's *** customer service for over two months. No one picks up the phone. No one is helpful. And when I was finally able to visit a service center (that was in complete disrepair) do you want to guess how thru helped me? Gave me another number to call. I called it at the physical service center and the Comcast service center employees watched me stay in hold with the number they gave me for 25 minutes to no reply. Comcast is the biggest piece of *** company in the world. The way they treat customers is a crime. And their customer service is a *** joke.

Comcast Nightmare!!!

I recently went to a Brandsmart store that has a comcast center in the bottom. I was approached by one of the comcast representatives, who asked me a few questions about my internet and cable services which I have with AT&T; he gave me Comcast's promotion which sounded pretty good but I told him that I would need to discuss any change with my family first and that I would call him the next day to let him know if I wanted services with Comcast or not. I called back the next day and could not get a hold of him. The days past and I didn't think anything of it only that I would miss out on that good promotion. However the following week I get home to find out that my services with AT&T were pending disconnection because Comcast had contacted them to retrieve my number. I never gave Comcast any authority or confirmation to do so; as a result I have not had any phone or internet services for one week. I had to reconnect all of my services again with AT&T and lost my previous phone number. AT&T advised me that the order with Comcast had not been canceled so I called Comcast and asked them to cancel the order that I no longer wanted their services; they told me they couldn't cancel it and to just reject the workers when they came to my house. The next day I get a call from Comcast that they are at my house, I told them that I had canceled the order and they questioned me; they called me a second time asking why I didn't want the order and I simply told them that I didn't want their services and explained to them what a mess their company had caused me. I got a third call from Comcast asking again why I was canceling the order. All I did was inquire about the Comcast promotion never did I once say that I was setting up an order!! The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. And the Comcast rep at the store was nothing but deceitful!!!

Comcast - Review from Bridgewater, Massachusetts

Comcast business is not committed to helping their customers. They are a greedy company who put their customer service reps in the Line of fire while management does nothing to help satisfy unhappy customers. I have requested to speak with management regarding my contract issues when closing my business & after waiting & not hearing back from anyone decided to *** the bullet on my obscene 75% early termination fee, but inquired about setting up a payment plan & you know what that company had that poor CSR tell me??? If it goes past 90 days past due, i can talk to the 3rd party collection agency to set up payments! WTF! I lost my small business due to the economy & this is what corporate America can offer me! *** comcast business!

Comcast - TURNED IN EQUIPMENT BUT SERVICE CONTINUED

This is a warning for everyone who terminates their Comcast service. After suffering a year of the lousiest cable and internet service ever I personally went to our Comcast office and turned in all my equipment and asked that my service be terminated effective that day. My equipment was taken in and the clerk typed away on his computer and I was given a receipt and told all had been taken care of. That same evening I received via email what I assumed to be my final bill. Yesterday I received a paper bill showing a full charge for last month. When I called to question the billing I was told that turning in your equipment DOES NOT cancel your service. You must call in to cancel your service and you will be billed for service until they decide to send a tech out to your address and disconnect the wires. I can't think of a more ludicrous policy. If you have no equipment you are obviously not receiving service. When I asked the clerk to terminate you service why was I not told that he could not do that, that I had to make a call to Comcast. This last thumb in my eye by Comcast just confirms for me that moving my service back to DirectTV was the right move.

Comcast in Chicago, Illinois - HORRID SERVICE!!

My blast plus promotion was ending so I called to see what other promotions they had. Getting a poor "customer resolutions" team member who kept cutting me off and telling me there was nothing they could do. Transferred me to a manager who said I could get the same promotion for $15 more and instead charged me $15 dollars more and took away stuff!!!! I called back and after a half hour they said they could not give me the promotion they just STRIPPED from me!! DONT USE COMCAST. There are better companies out there who have better service and better plans!

Comcast in Atlanta, Georgia - Cant Disconnect Service

I am trying to help my roommate disconnect an internet service in her name. She had to leave the country due to an emergency. She could not call to disconnect the service. She did write a letter, email and live chatted with an agent. They could not only offer a good solution, but they also gave conflicting solutions which made me go round in circles. They made me make several calls, many trips without any acceptable solution. They was no way we could make the customer service representative understand that a phone call from the account holder or appearing in person was not possible. She was perfectly willing to and did chat with the online agent, write to them, but to no avail. This was not their only transgression, they also saw fit to actually shout at me just because I asked for their services to be discontinued. This is the level of services and customer respect shown by their customer representatives to their customers. I hope that in the future comcast hires better customer care representatives.

Comcast- "Appointment"

Yesterday, I spoke to one of Comcast's alleged representatives. I explained that my internet modem stopped working after a very bad storm. They tried to troubleshoot it on their end but it did not work. She then says they will have to send out a technician to fix it. I agree and she "claims" she set the appointment and they should arrive between 8-10 am this morning. Well 10:30 am rolls around and no one shows. I called to ask if they were going to come out and they tell me there was no appointment and that they did not have anything available today. My only question is: how the heck are they still in business?

Comcast - Review

Comcast requested I pay a deposit for their service and once I paid the 150 dollar deposit. I called to set up and they set everything up next thing I know the TV flicks off and they tell me I didn't pay the *** deposit so I'm like I did pay wtf and they cut my service off the same day and now they automatically put me on hold when I call and now my cable still doesn't work and I'm gonna rip all this *** outta the wall and take my money else where
