Comcast - VERY RUDE AGENT/TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE
SPOKE WITH TERRY/TERI AT APPROXIMATELY 9:35-9:50AM CENTRAL TIME AUG 13 2014. SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND UNACCOMMODATING. IT WAS VERY CLEAR DURING PHONE CONVERSATION THAT SHE WAS VERY IMPATIENT WITH ME AND WAS USING A SARCASTIC TONE. AT ONE POINT, SHE EVEN SAID "OH MY GOD" OVER THE PHONE AND I HEARD IT LOUD AND CLEAR WHEN I WAS TRYING TO TELL HER SOMETHING. I CONFRONTED HER WITH WHAT I HEARD AND SHE DENIED IT. THEN NEXT THING I KNOW, SHE DROPPED THE CALL AND TRANSFERRED ME TO A DIFFERENT AGENT WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW. THIS IS A VERY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE WITH XFINITY. THIS IS VERY DISAPPOINTING AND I AM HOPING THAT COMCAST WILL DO SOME KIND OF DISCIPLINARY ACTION AND MORE IN-SERVICE/TRAINING TO THIS CERTAIN EMPLOYEE. IT'S SUCH A SHAME THAT SHE IS WORKING AT XFINITY AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE WITH HER RUDENESS AND LACK OF MANNERS.

Comcast Internet Service Review
The high speed Internet has signal that can't be properly used as internet. I can use my phone with 2 bars and get better browsing and video results. The comcast Internet has been out for 3 weeks I have hours on the phone. They blame me refuse to send someone out unless I pay then 50.
Comcast gave my personal info to scam company..
Called Comcast to see if they could offer better TV and internet service than I had. We did not come to an agreement. The foreign sales reps will promise anything to get you to agree to install comcast... After I had to cancel the installation I received calls from a scam company(telephone number, 855 854 4024) promised to give me $104.00 service for $52.00. As I had Comcast in the past I knew that this was a scam... To my surprise this scam company had all my personal information, and I mean all of it, all the info that I had to give to the foreign sales rep. Their sales reps are third party people from another country. After I canceled the installation I was called by this scam company rep with a similar accent of the Comcast rep. I reported this scam to the FTC but I doubt if anything will come of it.... Just BEWARE of Comcast...It seems that even after thousands of complaints, states consumer affairs do nothing about it... Florida is very lax about things like this. It's like, FL is full of senior citizens with lots of money so go for it......Protect yourself, complain to consumer affairs and bring it to the attention of elected officials whenever you can...
Comcast - Internet Service Review
Lost Internet and phone service August 6. Reported failure to comcast same day. Was told we would have an escalation order made and would be called for an appointment to repair service. Called the Filipino customer service 6 times on August 11 and was told I would have an appt one week after losing service. I explained that was unacceptable since I work from home. I now spend my days at Starbucks using their wifi to get work done. If you can't service your customers try a different business.
Comcast in Delanco, New Jersey - It took 5 days to reset my email account & I was experiencing intermittent land line.
I reached India, the Philippines, and after 5 days and several calls, a customer service rep. from India, did it for me .. 1st, they stated that I didn't have an account with Comcast. Then they gave me the wrong home phone number. Then I felt like I was on a merry-go-round....Then the attitudes surfaced. I called corporate customer relations, I should have called, dial a prayer.. Customer service in America has changed ! What they like to do is like at the park, throw bread to the pigeons !!! HBO, CINAMAX, 2-4 dollars a day for your inconvenience !!! Very insulting, don't you think ?? It is easier to go down a hill than up, but the view is from the top Mr. Roberts....
Comcast in New York, New York - Messed Up Credit Report
My family disconnected from Comcast three years ago. We just checked our credit report and found that they never registered the return of our modem and reported us to a collection agency, which in turn affected our credit score. Argh! I even remember calling them right afterwards three years ago and their customer service rep promised that they had indeed registered the return of the modem and that we would have no problems. Now I have to find a 3 year-old receipt. This reminds me of this funny spoof I saw of how to break up with Comcast: http://vimeo.com/102292858. It'd be funny if it weren't so true!!
Comcast charging for some workouts on Exercise TV?!?!?!!
The almost $300 a month that I'm paying Comcast is not enough??? Now they're actually charging extra for some workouts on Demand!!! Might thought it was outrageous that they started charging for movies that have been on TV 100 times but this is just the last straw. I guess we should expect that in addition to our monthly premium, next they'll be charging us extra per every show that we watch. Netflicks is looking more attractive all the time. One more month on my. On tract and I'm gone. I'm done. Really not worth it anymore. Your dynasty won't last forever Comcast.
Comcast in Sugar Land, Texas - Excessive Billing

Comcast - Incredibly bad repair service
When we moved in three years ago, I paid extra to have service set up the day after we moved in. The serviceman said the drop to our house was bad and needed to be re-run. For a month we used AT&T at a rate of $50 for 50Mb to get internet service...only to find out that (after I complained MIGHTILY) the drop was fine, it was the serviceperson who was screwed up. The supervisor who came out to the house said the internet had been fine the whole time, the serviceman had not set it up correctly. Fast forward to five weeks ago. Our internet service kept going out in the mid-morning and returning at night, coinciding with the hottest part of the day. After a few days I called Comcast, and after a week we got technicians out to the house. The surly pair decided the drop was indeed defective and said it would be re-run in the next two weeks...well, guess what? Last Monday (4 Aug) was the two week deadline and still no new drop. Our internet service has been okay the last week or so because it has been cool. Turns out, the *** at Comcast cancelled the install - probably because when they checked again, the internet seemed to be working fine! Allegedly, tomorrow we're going to get a special job to fix it. Right. Suspect they'll come out, ask if the internet is working right now, hear yes, then drive off with no work. So I went and got a hotspot with AT&T and increased my data plan to 10Gb, adding about $40 to my mobile bill...but now I'll have internet and phone service regardless of what the *** at Comcast do. I've investigated. The county signed some agreement giving Comcast a monopoly in Calvert County, Maryland for access. My only alternative to Comcast is DSL or dial-up. Wow. Thanks elected representatives for ensuring the people of Calvert County get the best utilities and services...
