ComCast sorry service and rippoff billings

I have been with Comcast internet for several years at my home. Service has been sporadic at best. Over the course of a few years it had become more frustrating to call them to complain and their numbers change. In early December we noticed we did not have internet again but did not want the frustration of trying to talk to someone that didn't care anyway so I just stopped calling. On my way to the house one day I saw their bucket truck on my street. I stopped to ask if they had fixed the problem and he replied he wasn't there to fix the problem. As i arrived at the house I just happened to notice the entire cable line to house was gone and a lock was put on the box at the pole. Of course they denied doing it. Since they use a debit system I knew they had not missed a payment and had no reason to disconnect the line. The next day there were two of their vans across the street so I ask them were they the ones that took down the cable. Of course they said Comcast would not remove the cable line even if it was disconnected. When I asked them to come and look, they complied. When they looked at want happened they admitted Comcast for some reason had definitely remove the wire. They made a phone call and had someone come out and do the repairs. We had cable again for a week or two and then again nothing. We had already gotten a Verizon Jet Pak due to all of the outages from Comcast so we just use it instead. I called this morning and talked to 5 people, put on hold multiple times, was hung up on once and also found out they had been charging me for a phone service that i did not want or order. Why get a phone on a line that mostly doesn't work. They were uncooperative at best, did not want to give me a refund for anything, and did not speak good English. Sorry company to have to deal with, and I told them to turn it all off because I'm paying for a service that I am not getting. They are thieves!

To the consumer who posted the complaint on Comcast... You need to contact the attorney general office.

You need to hire an attorney like I did that will only charge 30% of what you get back from this company plus punitive damages. I just did it and if you lose, you pay him nothing.

I signed up with Comcast in 12/15 thinking all my troubles with internet provides were behind me now ( I previously had Att Uverse). I switched due to the problems with ATT....but got in just a *** service as ATT. I had to call more than 6 times to get my service...

Comcast Boosts Revenue by Deliberately Processing Payments Late

For the 3rd straight month, Comcast has taken 2 weeks or more to process my payment. Then, they charge a "late fee", when they are the ones that are late applying payment! When I called, they say that it can take up to 3 weeks to process a payment. Really? They don't even give you three weeks from the time it is received until the time that it is due! That guarantees that they will process the payment late. I don't have this problem with any other vendor. Is there no law that requires prompt processing of payments? I'm sick of dealing with their incompetence.

I am in hollywood florida l I live one block from comcast office. I am homebound and on a waiting list for a transplant l my phone cable and internet went down 8 AM YESTERDAY. I have had to make 50 calls most go to India I was promised service yesterday no show than this am no show now maybe tomorrow. COMCAST is a hideous disgrace. There us no excuse three day wait. The are no weather disasters here. Just miserabke *** customer service workers and spaced out techs that cant maje a service call.

Billing Department Review

Comcast reported a non-payment to the credit bureaus which damaged my 800+ credit rating. But I withheld payment because they damaged the new roof on my house and ignored two telephone calls and a certified letter about the damage. They are only concerned with money and not with doing what is right. Don't give them your business. They don't deserve it.

I have been a customer for at least 30 years, all total, and the service is not so bad. The one thing I don't understand is why do we have to sit through the same 30 second commercial before we watch the videos of the day? How are these videos NOT included in the bill I pay each month? I feel insulted when there is a video I am interested in watching and I have to watch the ad beforehand. I don't get it, it seems the money Comcast receives from its customers each month would cover these short info videos. Help me out here, what am I missing?

I called today to downgrade Triple Play to Internet only - at their highest speed. I could tell the person was irritated that I didn't want to stay with Triple Play.

I told them I would have to check my options before I proceeded. Right after I hung up my modem was rebooted. My modem has never rebooted like that. I don't think it was a coincidence after the recent news reports of customers names being changed on their accounts.

If I had a better option I would be so gone, as it is I just plan to spend my evenings posting this everywhere I can on the internet. If you don't have Comcast, Go with AT&T - their service is so much better - and more professional.
