Xfinity / Comcast Internet STILL NOT WORKING!!! PAYING FOR NOTHING!!!

No wonder they don't allow reviews on Facebook. This place SUCKS! Reynan should be fired on the spot! I didn't leave the chat, This *** Reynan closed the chat!! This is like the 3rd time going to Live Chat with NO RESOLUTION!!!! Xfinity SUCKS!!! Plus, their internet speed is SOOO SLOW compared to FIOS. I already have business FIOS and they couldn't even get my xfinity modem to work, which the first guy said it should work anyways. I just got sent a new modem to me today from them and it still don't work. The month since I ordered is ticking away and yet to even get any internet service from XFINITY I'll make sure to make a blog post, so I can leave a review for others to read. This is what the guy said only after a couple minutes of leaving the computer screen. "Reynan : You are a very important customer and it appears you have left the chat. Comcast - Billing error, old service not shut down properly in their system, payments taken and service at current location still shut off.

Comcast, your service really makes you the ABSOLUTE worst company ever! I can't understand how you continue to succeed in business by providing the worst of the worst customer service I have ever seen. No one can help solve a situation, you need at least 10 phone calls with multiple hand-offs where you need to repeat your story again and again and again... well you get it. I am sure you have all experienced it. You are willing to take our payment, did not apply it to the correct account, kept an old account opened when they were supposed to close it and now service is not working. Comcast, or Xfinity - whatever you changed your name to in hopes of having a better reputation, instead of a name change you need to have a business consultant come in or take a few customer service classes or let customers speak to managers who can make a decision or help fix a problem. Billing transfers to support, support transfers to billing, get it together! Instead of the associate not being empowered enough to determine what needs to be done on the phone calls, they all seem to abruptly disconnect. Why not just get a manager, someone from billing and someone from support on the line to hash out the issue, determine a resolution and then take action. This would cost you, the company, less time and money, the customer less frustration and your reputation might actually improve. Other businesses would not be as fortunate (if that is what you want to call it) to still be making a profit. The numbers we have been told to call (not transferred to) include: 866-200-6733 800-325-7264 877-896-8678 877-842-6622 866-203-8766 We have made multiple call backs (mostly due to disconnections). At what point can customers bill you for their labor in trying to get your assistance on a service you provide? That would be a fair, after all, you charge rates for connections and support depending on what it is.

March 4, 2015 I have been a customer since 2008. The customer service reps and supervisors are rude and not trained very well. I have been trying to get credit adjustments owed to me on my account since January 15, 2015. Every time I call customer service I get conflicting answers on how much I need to pay each month. I have been paying $200.00 each month until all the credits are adjusted on my account. Today I got a call threatening to turn my cable off because I was $55 past due. Comcast services are way overpriced for the services they provide.

There was an outage in my area, prior to knowing this I called customer service and automated system told me there was an outage wouldn't all me to speak with anyone till I chose cancel service. Comcast don't credit account for outages unless you call and request. In my opinion this is stealing if I'm paying for a service that's not available and Comcast is taking my money for that time this is theft. They are crediting my account after I called for a request, but why should I have to call they know there is a problem with services. Comcast is stealing from consumers

Why are comcast customer paying for cable, internet, &phone for comcast employees? Stop giving your employees free cable, internet, & phone for free and our cable, internet, & phone will be lower. Stop let your customers pay for your employees cable, internet, & phone. Please retrain your employees to be a good customer service worker. They seem like they don't care when I called in and talked to them. When I called to cancel my cable and internet service the person I talked to sound like he didn't care I wanted to cancel my service. Its just seem like they are there just to earn there pay for the day.

Comcast and the Nervous Breakdown

I have fought with comcast almost every month I had them for 5 years. Since I've had this provider my bill has never been the same. We dont rent movies, t.v.shows etc. One month was 341.87 the next month it would be 143.40, 137.52, 150.00, 402.82. As you can see my "plan" hasnt been the same since the young kid came out to sell it to me. I was lied to by him when I purchased the cable services. We've changed nothing on our bill. Its always been the HDTV, Internet, and Phone bundle. Everytime we've called to resolve these issues, we've been on the phone for an hour at minimum, and placed on hold up to 7 times each time. Only to be transfered to another department, and then hung up on. I am 72 years old, I live off a fixed income, (which isnt much) and almost had a nervous breakdown crying, and a wreck trying to figure out how to pay for these rising costs, and dealing with this HORRID company. If there was any other provider that came out to my area, I would switch to them in a heart beat. The new Vice President of Comcast was supposed to take care of theses problems and has done NOTHING, to keep his customers happy, or have them want to stay with Comcast. Comcast Xfinity...worlds WORST customer service...bar none!

I recently installed Comcast xfinity Internet. The system works perfectly. Now...about their customer service....ABSOLUTELY the worst most incompetent customer service I have ever seen. So bad that it blows me away that they are still in business. I was lied to time after time about the cost of the initial installation. They refused to go back and review the recordings of our conversations. They even hung up on me once. All they do is transfer you to another service rep.....where you have to start all over again explaining your issue. There is no such thing as speaking to a supervisor. On one occasion I told a rep that I had researched their customer service and found out that about 95% of customers absolutely HATED their customer service department. Surprisingly enough the rep Agreed with me and said that she had been told this many times. Once again I am very pleased with the Internet connection. I just hope I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have to call their customer service EVER again.

Comcast - Internet Service Review from Hammond, Louisiana

Services were set up for Thursday morning nobody called and nobody showed. They did call twice on Wednesday, and hung up both times. We called back and was told they did not know why they had called. Was given 4 different stories on Thursday, as to why they didn't come. Was told they called but it was the wrong number. Not true they had the number the day before. Then was told no services were ever set up. Too many excuses. Reset the services, and was told that they would definitely be here on Sunday between 8 & 10. Again never showed. Again when we called they stated that they called and nobody answered the phone. Again this company has major integrity issues. This has caused a hardship on my family due to having a meeting with the job of about 12 clients, which required the internet services. This could very well jeopardize my job due to promising my boss that this meeting would take place. This was the worst service that could possibly been given. Do they not think that you can get copies of each conversation as well as a list of all incoming calls? This will prove integrity, poor customer service as well as many others. I sure hope they can get this resolved without further action.

Comcast - 2 to 3 reboots everyday

In the morning when we try to watch our local news we get error messages that we have to call the number listed. We never get any satisfaction. In the evening we cannot access our on-demand to watch our shows. We constantly get error messages that we cannot access the show and have to contact the phone number listed. The call is always the same, need to reboot - turn off everything and pull the plug, then reboot. We get no satisfaction and no one can tell us why we have to deal with this on a daily basis. We are paying out the *** for *** service and no one knowing how to handle the situation.

Comcast - Unprofessional, Incompetent, and Dishonest

Comcast is one of the worst business I have dealt with. We signed a contract over a two year period. After some time, I have noticed that Comcast has decreased (unauthorized) some TV channels. High speed internet Comcast claims, also disconnected frequently to the point of disrupting me from completing important tasks. Comcast also crept up in monthly billing amount. Some day, Comcast charged extra for modem rental, in which I personally own (I did not borrow the modem from Comcast). I called to correct the issue, but Comcast kept on stating otherwise. They asked when I purchased my own modem, whether I have the receipt or not. When I asked about the contract termination, Comcast claimed that it found the record of me having my own modem. Comcast tried so hard to apparently give me the "best offer" for "customer satisfaction". I wanted to return the TV cable box. I called and the representative stated that I have 10 days grace period after the end of the service day to return the equipment. The representative said that someone will pick up the equipment in a week, and that I would not be charged. I kept the TV cable box for a week until someone picked up. I did not watch TV or use the internet, as I switched to the other company. Then, Comcast billed me extra (over $100.00) for holding the equipment for 7 days. I called and representative named Paul said that I was supposed to turn the equipment in by the end of the last service date. I kept on telling him that multiple Comcast representatives told me otherwise, and that as a company, Comcast had a responsibility to inform its customers correctly. He kept on saying that he's sorry but won't do the right thing whatsoever of not charging me of being wrongly informed. Comcast is one of the worst business out there. It's highly unprofessional and keep seeking the opportunities to charge its customers more.

Worst customer service ever!!!!"Retention" department did NOTHING to correct my ever changing bill.Funny how it always changes for the worse. I wss sold a package with fairly basic cable, HBO and Showtime for 72.99 a month locked in for a year. My bill was wrong the first month. I complained and the retention department got it "down" to 77.99. $5 more than the agreed upon amount. I accepted their offer to keep from going through the painstaking process of changing companies.The bill went up $5 more each of the next two months! More phone calls.....more promises of resolving the problem...then...I received my 4th months bill. $232.91!!!!! The pathetic, inept "Terrance"in the retention department offered to get my bill down to $102.28!!! Why couldn't he at LEAST get my bill back down where it was????? Pathetic, unprofessional, inept, thieving, lying, buffoon! Thanks to Terrance (who wouldn't put his supervisor on the phone) I have already changed companies to Direct TV. I will never do business with Comcast again unless they are my only option.

In Ovtober of this last year (2014) they said my bill would be $74 a month. My bill has remained at over $125 a month and when I called to complain the person on the line kept saying my reception was bad anytime I said they were charging me $130 instead of the $74 I was promised. She also said I agreed to a 2 year contract and I couldn't get out of it. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!!!!! At least with Verizon they didn't try to cheat me. Comcast must be getting desperate with the internet, but this is NO WAY to treat a customer. They should be ashamed and the CEO should be FIRED!!!! This is nothing less than ROBBERY!!!!!! COMCAST IS THE VERY WORST OF ALL CABLE PROVIDERS!!!!!!! I would not stay with them now if they honored the $74. You must need a job VERY bed to work for them. Shame on you people as well.
