Comcast in Jacksonville, Florida - I was blamed for intermittent internet conncectivity

Approximately after 2 weeks of daily internet disconnects I kept a lvl 1 tech on the phone until we agreed it was probably the 4/5 year old router I had. I replaced it the next day. this cost me another 300 +/- 20 dollars. This did not correct the issue(s). After a trip to the local Comcast store, I replaced the older cable modem with their new one " one of our best" I was told. Not only was it not even close to be a "best" the one they gave me was actually broken, 1st issue with the SMC cable mode is the password would not accept special characters, only letters/numbers... that's not a good thing. the next issue I have with the new cable modem is the wireless could NOT be turned off: I could tailor it, adjust it, modify it, but in no way turn it off. Last and final problem with the SMC modem is it shut off, 3 times, in the 45 minutes I was working with it. I bought my own after a heated re-visit to the local service store (they apparently are not used to vulgar language at the store, so they must be new at Comcast) Today, after another 10/15 minute outage (and this is for wired and wireless devices) a "refresh signal" was sent to the new modem... I was told the modem may be bad. I am thinking att-uverse may also be bad

COMCAST is a NIGHTMARE! Customer Service is HORRIBLE, NON-EXISTENT. You can call EVERYDAY about a problem, the same problem, and tell it over and over to different agents, and get a different answer from every one of them. BUYER BEWARE. They DO NOT DESERVE to be in business. I am now with ATT UVERSE, and what a BREATH OF FRESH AIR. WARNING: do not buy from COMCAST.?

Comcast in Antelope, California - Infinity X1 program is a sham - too many problems.

Started with X1 right after Christmas - liked the 5 show promise; however they did not say anything about ALL the glitches like most of the shows that are recorded cut off the end of the program. Have to make adjustments to each and every thing being recorded. Then that conflicts with having 4 tapings and 1 live, which is really just 5 ports. You can watch 3 live programs and only have 2 recordings. Also, when I set a series to record it only give you one option. i.e., standard/high def or a certain channel. If the program is scheduled on several different channels, then you have to manually record each show. I was advised to cut off the start and/or the end. There is no other solution. Each recording has to be manually set - what a waste of time. Then after all this - dealing with service is a nightmare - ALL the time. You get a different story with each and every person - they don't know what they are doing. Forget about a call back!!!

Comcast is getting worse with with each aquisition they get worse. THE FCC SHOULD NOT LET COMCAST GET TO BE AN EVEN BIGGER MONOPOLY THAN they are... Stop them. PAID THEM $197.08 AND THEY CHARGED ME THE $197. AGAIN. WENT TO THEIR OFFICE and showed the payment... still being charged. Didn't have service for weeks; getting a credit is painful. No value to me, country, free enterprize and I think FCC and the White House gives COMCAST whatever they want and we, the public get shafted. See the money COMCAST gave "Obama re-election", DNC, Their PAC and Clinton Foundation. Stop this unless Comcast is going to behave in a fair and not restrict competition. David Cohen, Ed Rendell and the cronies of the White House is crazy.

I have been calling consistently on a billing and supposed verbal contract I agreed to on January 6th with Giovani. I had become fed up with Comcasts constant and consistent large increases in rates. I had decided to change over to their competitor here in the NW Frontier, as they were offering a $69.99 2 year guarantee for my comparable services. As I look back now, I should have made the change and given them a chance to show me real Customer Service. However, I called Comcast to see if they were willing to match their price and service, Giovani was trying to keep me as a Loyal Customer, so offered me a $79.99 rate for 2 years with an upgraded box and service, supposedly. I set up the appointment to have the service agent come out on 1/12/15. When he arrived he advised me with this new box I would not see much improvement in quality of screen with the basic package I had accepted and I would need a new modem and passwords. We both agreed it was not the best choice in my situation, and was upfront to make sure I followed through with the guaranteed rate of $79.99, as he seemed to be aware that Comcast system does not always update automatically. He was correct. My next bill did not show the agreed rate of $79.99 and after at least 10 calls into Comcast and 2 months later, their Loyalty department will not agree to honor the $79.99 rate for the 2 years Giovani had verbally read to me for 2 years. I finally got a supervisor to follow up on 2/25/15 after being told many times that it was in process, and after a week the $79.99 supposedly is in the system, but a contract appeared in my inbox stating it was only $79.99 for the first year and $99.99 the second year. I have called back twice on this with no help what so ever. After this survey I will be attempting to get a VP or President name and address to let them know they have become to large to have any decent Customer Service any longer.

Comcast in Vancouver, Washington - Increasing CAble TV costs

Comcast has been constantly adding costs to more movies. We watched the French Connection for free and wanted to watch French Connection II. When I did a search on demand I found the movie was 14.99 to rent! Also more and more older movies are being added to Comcasts price hike. I have a premium package and used to get most older movies for free or 1.99, now it is out of sight. They also charge to watch TV reruns like Mike and MOlly and Drama series.What the heck am I paying 260.00 a month for? They also charge 7.99 for some movies and 5.99 for others (HD). The free movies are for the most part a joke, the worst movies Hollywood has ever produced. And their monthly fees keep creeping up. And when hooking up basic cable in the kitchen because they changed their delivery system they charge to rent the box that delivers the change. I am so tired of Comcast and am looking for big change with the internet and TV service.

problem with the wireless router and gaming they've been here 9 times to fix it in each time they left it was the problem still exists it they came to the pole that was supposed to bring an additional modem today to solve the problem so that the game could be hard wired directly into the modem the technician came out and refused to add the additional box although there was a notation in there from customer solutions stating that additional box will be added completely free of charge

my monthly bill kept increasing even when I continually call to change up my plan for lowering my rate. I paid a $29 activation fee to change my plan.....again.... to get locked in to a specific rate. and then when I called to ask why my rate increased again, I was told everyone's did because of the equipment rentals. I am so over Comcast I've been a customer for over 13 years. they used to be good but now they are the worst. plus who would do the Xfinity logo to look like Verizon, a brand that was already established. what company does that? I hope they go down the tubes.
