Comcast in Atlanta, Georgia - Customer service is worse than incompetent.

None of the customer service representatives are correctly informed or able to access information across departments. Waiting time is ridiculous and the customer is continuously fobbed off to another representative to yet again repeat the same details adnauseam . I'm astounded at the complete breakdown of any actual functionality when dealing with their most important assets...the customer. This is an astonishingly poorly run organization. A pathetic , arrogant and greedy company with about as much integrity and appeal as pond ***. Cancelled the service. (And I use the word service sparingly.) I run a small business, if I treated my customers with the disdain Comcast has then not only would I be ashamed to call myself a businessman but I'd be out of business very quickly indeed...and deservedly so.

Problems with payment

Comcast charged for service over a month after service was cancelled.

After 15+ years with COMCAST and two recent unexplained (Call to COMCAST CR who said "corporate decision to raise rates" - cable increases ($10 within 6 weeks) for same service, we cancelled and installed DirecTV. Comcast continued to charge us for the monthly service for over a month and after two contradictory calls to customer service--a. 1st call: we'll credit your card within 4 weeks (didn't happen)/ b. 2nd call: we'll send you a check after 14 days (why should we believe that after waiting 4 weeks for credit card to reflect the credit that the first CR assured us?)--finally insisted on talking with supervisor who, after much debate, said our credit card would be processed within 3 days. We'll see. Next steps: 1. file complaint with State Public Utility Commission. 2. Dispute credit card charge directly to Master Card. Alert: NEVER do business with Comcast!! We're saving over $100/month with more channel options with DirecTV..

Comcast in Vineland, New Jersey - Worst costumer service

My bill went from $74.00 to $140.00 in 6 months. The bill the went to $171.00 a month for the same service. I called the company and They said they could not explained why the price went up. No new offers available and they say they did not care if i cancel my service with them. The representative could not answered my question and she talk about other things that i was not interested. I then spoke with a representative from solution who also stated he could not help me. I told him to transfer me to cancellation department because i did not wants they're services anymore. He put me on hold and five minutes later he hang up the call. The local office, 301 S. Main Rd, Vineland N.J are also poor in costumer service. If you stay in that office who will notice 4 of 5 costumers are to complaint and they walk away more upset than when they entered. They don't solve you problem and they act like they don't care. Without us they are nothing. I guess they are forgetting that.

Very true, customer care is quite pathetic with Comcast. They have false sense of ownership and think company belongs to them and I havent seen any complaint getting resolved to my satisfaction. Customer care is just there so "I appologise".

I ask Comcast for a telephone. But when I got a bill for install.

It was over 119 dollars. In the bill is internet, I do not have computer so I am not able to run internet, they put me in the bill wireless phone to. But I did not asked for this services so I went to the offices of Comcast and asked to disconnect, but so far they did not do this.

If they hope to get money from me is foolish I did not pay bill for install and do not going to pay no one CENT.

I tell do not use Comcast, better use AT T it more honest

Comcast is a joke. I have had service with them since 2011. Intermittent internet service, the home phone works when it wants to. They don't give refunds and customer service and tech support suck. Had COX cable for many years and never had one problem with them. Don't water your time expecting a call back, because they don't call you back. COMCAST IS WAY OVER PRICED AND THEIR SERVICE SUCKS!!!!! Changing service when Monday rolls around.

Comcast doesn't resolve issues, the just put a bandage on and hope it fixes the problem.

But thank goodness they credited my acct with 20 buck, if they hadn't done that I dont know what I would do. Original statement still stands, COMCAST IS A JOKE!

I was a happy cable customer with a Comcast competitor (Zipcode 15001). Comcast had been sending me numerous promotional offers in the Email. One such offer was Xfinity DVR Cable + Performance Internet + $200 gift card + Free Strampix subscription for around $80. I liked this offer and decided to switch. My first bill was $233 with duplicate installation charges, HD technology Fee, Anyroom DVR Service Fee, Broadcast TV Fee, Regional Sports Fee, and Franchisee Fee. This was over $150 more than what was promised. I called the Comcast customer service 3 times and no one was able to help. They said they had no such promotion. I then went to local Comcast office (zipcode 15108) twice where I was told to call the 800 customer service number as they did not have the authority to adjust my bill. I faxed my bill and promotion offer letter twice. It's been 2 months without any resolution. I have not received the $200 gift card or free subscription to Streampix.

Comcast in San Francisco, California - Question

How is it and for that fact I did not know that comcast and direct tv were the same?? Why is it that direct tv can customer can have comcast Internet service without paying?? Can anyone explain this event?? I throught that these two companies dud not like each other?? If for any reason other than to say on tv of such events were true? Then why is it one can have Internet and direct tv at the same time?? I kept wondering this question for so time now,and it is up to comcast to decide what is wrong with?

At least 3 times, after calling Comcast customer service for technical support, I was told there would be a charge for the "support" of between $9.95 and $14.95 (and I mean phone support, not the infamous "truck roll"), or was given a sales pitch for some other service, such as cell phone service, or some new gizmo, or "home security". How outrageously annoying is this? I can't say online. I have had Comcast/Xfinity for 6 months now, am locked into a contract, and absolutely hate the service. Customer service is atrocious, programming is abysmal, and I have been overcharged for several things, such as directory assistance (about $60), I've had my service interrupted due to a payment being 1 day late and then charged an exorbitant reconnection fee (about $25 I think), but the ultimate injustice was being charged a $5.95 "convenience fee" to pay my bill EARLY over the phone. WTF? My internet speed tests have never even approached the 100 mps that I was sold and am paying for every month. Lastly, or should I say firstly, when I was sold this awful service by a door to door salesman I was promised a $200 credit after a couple of months just for switching. I only received a $175 credit. My comcast email never works. I get the infinite spinning blue balls. Fortunately I use Gmail. The way I see things, Comcast owes me about $116 at least. Whatever happened to breach of contract or honesty in advertising? I miss you RCN. I miss your awesome customer service. I miss your predictable bills. I'm so sorry I switched. I just hope you will take me back in 18 months when I'm free. Please wait for me.
