Comcast employees cant agree

I was thinking of getting Comcast for phone and internet. The first person I spoke with sounded India based and didnt give much useful info. I called back another time, got a different story and then yesterday a third time and that person patched me to yet another person. The info from three of those people was all contradictions. I came away convinced I was dealing with one of the worst companies in business and later yelped them and saw they are the kings of one star reviews. I was going to switch because I thought ATT was lame but these guys make ATT look good.

Comcast - Frustrated in System!

I have just spent probably the most frustrating 1 1/2 hours of my life dealing with Comcast. Seems they installed a security system 2 weeks ago and, in spite of my having an electronic copy of the contract, have no evidence of that account. Transferred through 5 different people, departments, each of which required me to start all over again with complete explanation and info. Still wasn't fixed after 1 1/2 hours of time spent! If you're thinking of joining Comcast or Xfinity, and have any other choices, don't walk, run, to the nearest exit. Their customer service system borders on medieval. Frustrated in system.

My DSL high speed internet service with Verizon was inexplicably very slow (0.4 MBps upload/download) in the past month, and Verizon ignored my complaints, so I decided to SWITCH TO COMCAST!!! On Comcast website, a DSL plan for $29.99 was offered to new customers and I opted for it. As a new customer it required me to enter my address, however the website kept changing the street number I was entering (1 Quince Circle was being interpreted as 10 Quince Circle no matter how I entered it). Being that 10 Quince Circle was an existing Comcast customer it rejected my order. I then called Comcast sales rep for new customers and the rep offered me the same plan for $39.99. I requested the $29.99 plan and the rep said that was only offered via Internet. I explained to the rep that the Comcast DSL plans website for new customers was not intrepreting my address correctly and rejected my order, and I asked the rep to sign me up for the $29.99 plan as offered on the Comcast website, however the rep would only offer the plan for $39.99, and told me to call the Comcast customer service number. Thanks to the complete ineptitude of your sale reps, you lost my sale, and forced me to go BACK TO VERIZON!!! COMCAST SALES REP LOSING YOUR COMPANY BUSINESS!!!!

Comcast - They want me back - even if it takes a scam to do it

We were an over 2 yr customer, full package. After contract ended, Comcast raised monthly by $70+. Last month cancelled everything but internet. Bought our own modem/router - they got that activated and working. Since cancelling, we've rec'd two calls wanting us to take a survey and make an offer to us to come back. Two days ago, internet went out - mysteriously. I called, they said that my new router/modem was never activated. Comcast "fixed" that very quickly & immediatley tried to sell me a bundle - TV/HS Internet/Phone - for $75...$5 less than internet alone - no contract! Almost $100/mo less than what I'd paid over 2 yrs. COMCAST SCAM I... Overcharge customer $160/mo for 2 yr contract. Raise to $230/mo after 2 yr contract for being a loyal customer. Continue to COMCAST SCAM II. COMCAST SCAM II.... Pull customer's internet plug, get customer to call in, "fix" the mysterious problem then offer a bundle $ that should've been offered all along. ( COMCAST EMPLOYEE TIP - DON'T FORGET TO BE INSULTED WHEN CUSTOMER TURNS YOU DOWN.)

Comcast repair people - *** and WORTHLESS

Moved into a senior resort community. Phone was NOT working. Used the lobby desk phone to call, and they promised to come tomorrow. They came to the lobby and used the desk phone to call my apartment to tell me they were here! ***!!!! My phone was not working and they left because we were not home, they said. I called back and EMPHASIZED they should come right up to my apartment ... because my phone was NOT WORKING, they are here to fix it, and if it is not working how can they expect me to answer it if they first call me from the lobby desk phone. GUESS WHAT --- they did the same thing again and left because "No one was home". I contacted them again (third time) and this time they came right up and tried to fix it. I say "TRIED" because it took 5 more visits over 4 months until my phone, computer, and cable TV finally were fi9xed ... and I finally fixed it myself. What was the problem? COMCAST INSTALLED A WGN WIFI ADAPTER ON my TV when it already contained its own WGA adapter. The 2 adapters were fighting each other and no electronics worked. Seconds after removing Comcast's installed WGN adapter, everything worked and has been fine since. *** and WORTHLESS COMCAST !!!!!

Comcast - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

They work with a separate company to process payments and they are just as bad if not worse. Deposited a check without my permission... Overcharged me cut off service after paying off balance... Then when you call to tell them the issue they are incompetent. Tried to get out of my contract and they refused terrible. Will not be renewing contract once it is up. There service would be good to if they didn't mislead customers and had knowledge of their jobs. Cant wait for this contract to end. I will take my chances with any other company they are false and misleading

Comcast - Lies, nonconformity, abuse

01/31/15 day, around 5 pm I come home and the technician 7797 in order to install the new modem for fast internet service, previously requested. After trying for almost two hours to perform the installation, the Tech called his supervisor because the problem was not resolved. I personally talk to the supervisor and gave me two options: send me a tech the next day (Sunday) between 8-10 am or the same tech on Monday. Because my work depends on the internet chooses the first option. The next day no one appeared to work out the problem; call tech on several occasions and told me I'd call her supervisor; the supervisor never responded to their commitment. call on more than three occasions comcast and had no other choice but to wait three days for the next appointment; comcast also make sure I would not have to pay for the visit of tech as it is not my fault. Finally I could get an appointment for Monday 5-7 pm. In short I spent more than 48 hours without internet. Now I talk to comcast and tells me that I must pay 186.85 and 157.21 next month. I disagree and talk to Supervisor llig1213 Ignacio tells me that I deducted technical and visit! Guess that gives me the same figure as the previous! Nothing discount. I am very disappointed with the service who has been my favorite company for years and I feel I have been cheated and abused. I wish to respond in writing. Than you

Worst customer service out there!!!! I've wasted so much of my life on hold waiting to talk to an incompetent fool I don't understand. I'd rather pay my friends to act out my favorite shows than use the sickening monopoly that is Comcast.

I have had comcast since my old APARTMENT in 2013, and was told my contract would last 1 year and now I am being told that my contract is for 3 years. I was given an quote for 134.99 and now my bill has more than trippled to 400.00 in less than a month. The initial service tech that sold me the package told me that my bill would only up 10.00 if i upgrade to the 360 package. i asked him if there would be any additional fees he told me no, so i told him ok and then he came out to my house told me that he would not install my camera unless he could put them in my bed room. I instructed him to leave or i would call the cops and he left. I notified Comcast of the issue and they told me they would have someone call me no call and send another service tech to my house.the initial tech who i asked to leave called me personally from his CELL PHONE AND told me he was at my front door to install my services. I told him to get off of my property or the cops would be notified he left. I informed comcast again of this incident. no call returned. then a service tech was sent out only to get out here and no be able to do anything he said oh, i dont know how to install cameras i only fix services and then he left .a new service tech was sent out by the name of Demond and he installed 3 cameras and didn't mention any additional fees for coming out and I got my first bill from Comcast in august it was 1145.00. I almost fell out my chair. so i called Comcast every month from august 2014 until 02/2015. to get fees and stuff resolved. I was CREDITED back some money,but not of which i do not owe. at the time i received the bill i told Comcast i didn't want any of the services anymore they then told me i would not be able to cancel because my initial contract was not over i asked when it was over i was told 7.28.15, so i was going to try and wait it out until now i speak to an service rep on 2.10.15 and was told my contract is not going to be over unti 2017. like wtf! ; which means my contract was extended another 2 years I am pissed I was lied to regarding the fees and then Comcast goes and renews my contract without my knowledge and tells me if i cancel i will owe them over 1000 dollars to get out of contract since its been renewed. I am not satisfied with the behavior of there employees the fact that they lie to there customers just to MAKE MONEY. I am an single mother with a 2 year and taking care of my disabled brother. I don't have money to spend 400 a month on cable when its not going to put food on my table or take care of my household. I told them they need to take me out of this contract because i was highly bamboozled and this is not appropriate.I am highly pissed and I am not happy about this *** outrageous bill. I am tired of this *** an obviously if they had looked at my bills they would know i never payed that much. I am so over Comcast and would never recommend them to anyone. I told the representative that if they cant cancel my contract they renewed with out telling me I would have to consult with an attorney and go to the news she told me go ahead so that s going to be my next step. I have never been this stressed in my life over some cable, so over Comcast. I payed Comcast 300.00 in January and now its feb.10 and they say I owe 400.00 someone do the math there. I set up internet thru comcast when I moved to a new place. It didn't work for almost 2 weeks and when they finally sent someone, they charged me $39.95 for it and refused to remove it from my account. Even though I was told it would be free and even though it was their equipment outside that didn't work! I had to fight with them to get a credit for the couple weeks that it didn't work. Every time Ive been on the phone with them and asked them to note my account, the rep leaves something totally different! Finally, today the customer service rep told me that "I should have to pay for the technician because internet is luxury, not a utility" and that it was my choice to have the service installed. I've had my fill with them once and for all. Switching to AT&T. They aren't much better, but *** I'm finding out anything is better than Comcast these days!

I call Comcast on the 6 of February 2015 an cancelled my service with them due to outrageous bills,spoke with someone on several time about my bill.they stated they were adjusting my bill never happen only had the service since the end of November.so when calling on the 6 of this month every time I call to cancel they were trying to put me on a different plan I denied it got hung up on called back same thing hung up on call back now they were suppose to transfer to the cancellation department they were trying to put me on a different plan again I denied only to be hung up on once again.Call back got someone by the name of honey explains the situation to her in the cancellation department only to hear her trying to keep me as a customer again,I declined my words to her young lady no please cancel my service as of today her reply was yes ma'am went step by step finally I said to myself.she stated ma'am your service has been cancelled as of today the 06 of February 2015 my reply thank you very much have a good day.Now why I get home this morning today date February 10,2015 only to see that my service has not been cancelled.Talk about pissed comcast is a big ripe off very dishonest people look as if I will be contacting Fcc to file a complaint as well as comcast better yet scheming Comcast
