Comcast in Denver, Colorado - Unrepentant dishonesty

Beginning with my signing up for an account in August of 2014, I proceeded to pay for three months of HDTV, DVR, and several channels that never worked. After several attempts to resolve this with communications through both online chats and phone calls, my issue was finally resolved after they agreed to send out a tech to investigate my issue. Once the tech arrived, he proceeded to perform the same diagnostic checks that the original installer had done to no avail. Once completed, this tech eventually checked the connection on the back of my house and found an archaic filter attached to my connection cable. I had been billed, at this point, for 3 months of services I never received. After this semi-competent tech repaired the outdated lines on my home, all was fine for several months. After this issue was resolved, the billing nightmare began. My bills began to reflect payment dates that apparently had no bearing or connection to reality. I was told that my next bill was not due until the normal time of the following month, yet my service was cut off on 3/30/2015. I called in and paid the required "past due balance," and my service was restored. I returned home from work on 3/31/2015 to my television and internet not working again. I called in and was told I was required to pay another ~$30.00 charge, and could not be told why. I could even expect to pay the superfluous "reactivation fee" that I was told I would have to pay on my next bill, but to have to pay two days in a row? Comcast operates under the same tactics as a classic monopoly, and answers to no one. The hoops they require an everyday consumer to pay just for the privilege of watching television is absurd, and I am still paying for their nonsensical package that includes a home phone, despite the fact that one under the age of 94 still uses a land-line.

I hope you did not send out any work orders to this address at 781 minna street. I am the only one on the bill yes?? To install internet service added on my bill at a cost to me?? I did not order any service to this address at any time. I had at one time added account to pay for which was to much to pay for. I had to cut my bill cost by taking the other account out. I do not call comcast except when then box goes out which is time to return if and when I move,and no aded phone numbers to my account

have had comcast for over 20 yeard.did not get new services but my bill just kept going up.so i had to down grade to basic and internet only.thats only local tv.you would think the company would want to keep good customers.

Still unhappy with Comcast....

I contacted their feedback department and still have not resolved my complaint to my satisfaction. 3 months and still not following up like I asked. I was told they would listen to the orginal conversation and the contract I agreed upon for 2 years.... Obviously that is too much work for them to follow up with and make me a happy customer. I am hearing more and more complaints from neighbors and friends about them. What happened to their good customer service they used to provide 5 years back.... My feeling, too big to care about you as a customer.

On Demand Service Review

While watching on demand, the picture begins pixelating and the sound is garbeled. This happens too often and there is no other service provider that provides an alternative. It is an expensive service that is unresponsive to consumer feedback. It is very frustrating.

TV service out. Called Comcast and told first available appointment fir Tech to come out was in 4 days time. FOUR DAYS........Then told that if I wanted to make 4 hour round trip to their service center , I could exchange my cable box. But with no guaranty that this would cure the problem. After all, I do live out in the boonies. A small town called ORLANDO, Florida, which whilst having a service center, does not stock any cable boxes, routers, modems etc etc.

Comcast charged me for a paid per view boxing match. I live alone and have never watched a boxing match in my life.

They refused to believe me and to acknowledge that their system maybe vulnerable to hacking like any other digital equipment. It took me talking to 3 people including a supervisor to get the charge removed.

In the end the still did not believe me. I have had Comcast for 20+ years but I will end this service if another error shows up on my account and they refuse to accept that their system is subject to errors.

Comcast is the worst. They have been over charging me for months and then when I call to talk about the charges after waiting for over an hour and getting hung up on numerous times, I was told that its my problem. I should have looked at my bill closely. After that call my bill has almost double. I have had enough with this company. The customer service is the worst and the actual cable and internet service is not worth the price. Comcast has lost another long time customer due to their lack of service to their consumers.

70 minutes multiple reps. Very hard to hear. Sounded like boiler room. Awful experience. Very little if any training for phones reps. I have use comcast for 15 years. By far the worst experience ever.
