Comcast - Why all the channels not in my package

Why do I have to surf through hundreds of channels to find the ones in my package? Why do I have to continually view Comcast offers for events and packages? I just want to watch TV!! Customer service sucks after long hold times and multiple options to get to a human. It is all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and zero customer service. I feel bad for their employees. Man talk about having to get bs all day long while execs rake in millions. Who is going to fix this monopoly? One hundred words? Comcast - Can't get help

My cable has been out for 5 days, still trying to get to talk to someone in customer service. Has anyone found a way to get real help from Comcast? The online chat folks were unable to offer anything other than what they called 'basic troubleshooting', none of which helped. Now I'm trying to reach corporate customer service by phone, with no success. What have other people tried that actually was successful in getting help? All I'm hoping for is a way to talk to someone who can make things happen. I feel like I'm shooting in the dark, no way to get a response.

Comcast - WORST SERVICE EVER IN MY 57 YEARS

Xfinity1 has been nothing but a pain in my *** since I had it installed. The day of installation the technican had to get a new remote box for the bedroom because the first one would not activate.  3 days later I call Comcast because all services(phone, internet and cable) was out, waited 2 days for the technican and when he got here  he said that the wrong filter for the xfinity1 platform had been installed.   2 weeks later again all services were out, waited 3 day and the technican installed a different filter and I was happy all services worked.   4 months later I decided to add another xfinity1 box in family room in the basement.  Called Xfinity, was told it would be at least 2 weeks before a technican would be avaiable for a $35 service call fee, but they could send me the box for self install with a $30 shipping fee and I accepted.  Two days later FedEx delivers 2 boxs that won't activate and again another technican had to come out.  To top things off 2 days later the remotes for the bedroom and basement stopped working and now waiting for comcast to mail me new ones and say the will not charge me for shipping this time.

I have the same exact story as you do with the install, the difference was I was told I was getting the new stat of the art X-1 that I would not be charged for...Guess what? when the bill showed up I was charged for something I didn't want.

They are going to charge you for everything. My advice cut your losses now and go with something else.

ANYTHING but Comcast.

I AM A NEW CUSTOMER. LIKE OTHER CABLE COMPANIES, I WAS OFFERED HBO AND MOVIE CHANNELS FOR 3 MONTHS FREE. (NOT EVEN A BIG DEAL) I CALLED THEM TO ASK THEM WHY I HAVENT GOTTEN IT, AND THIS RUDE, NASTY GIRL ASKED ME "WHO TOLD YOU WE HAVE THAT OFFER" I SAID, I WAS OFFERED THAT AND ALSO MY SISTER HAD IT AND SHE EVEN MOVED HOMES AND THEY GAVE IT TO HER AGAIN!... SHE LAUGHED IN MY FACE AND PUT ME ON HOLD, THEN SHE CAME BACK WITH A NASTY ATTITUDE TO SAY THAT THERE WAS NOT SUCH A THING AND THAT MY SISTER HAD THAT PROMOTION NOTED ON HER ACCOUNT AND IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION (WE ONLY LIVE 10 MIN FROM EACH OTHER). HOW DID THIS WOMAN KNOW WHO MY SISTER IS? SHE LAUGHED, WAS SO SARCASTIC AND NASTY.... THEN I ASKED FOR A MANAGER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HER NASTY *** AND SHE ONLY AVOIDED IT AND LAUGHED EVEN MORE!!!! THEN I CALLED AGAIN, BECAUSE MY INTENTION WAS TO INQUIRE ABOUT SETTING UP A NEW TV ON ANOTHER ROOM, THEREFORE GETTING ANOTHER BOX.AGAIN, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! EVEN TO ONLY PURCHASE AN EXTRA BOX FROM THEM. LADY WAS RUDE, SARCASTIC AND DIDNT CARE. NOT TO MENTION I HAD TO CALL 4 TIMES BECAUSE THEY HUNG UP ON ME. WILL BE CANCELING AND GOING TO A DIFFERENT PROVIDER. HORRIBLE, VERY DISAPPOINTED, NOT SURE HOW THEY HAVE THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE REPRESENTING THIS COMPANY, I WILL DEF. Switching to Verizon tomorrow. Paying lots of $$ to get out of the Comcast contract. I wonder is this a Comcast money making scheme? Provide poor service, to the point where customers pay to get of it? SO glad I didn't invest in Comcast stock or I'd be even more pissed! I've been waiting all day for the Comcast, "Level 2 Technician" to show up. This is the clod they send out when the first 3 clods can't fix the problem. Already an hour and a half late, past the 4 hour window of when they were supposed to show up. Not expecting any miracles when the clod finally shows up. Recurring problems with the Internet. Loses the connection several times a day or the signal is so *** the web pages freeze. The 24/7 Comcast customer service is a joke. As a customer, you're on hold 24/7 listening to the automated message, "All of our representatives are still assisting other callers. Please stay on the line and we'll be with you shortly". A half hour to 45 minutes later, you get the inevitable representative whose English is so bad you have to ask them to spell out the words. There are no Arabic vowels which makes it an even bigger challenge. Cancelling my account. Switching to Verizon.

I completely agree with you! Comcast customer service and even their supervisors are ***.

I've never had such poor quality customer service where the representative talks over you when you're trying to explain the problem! I'm so livid at the fact that comcast would hire subpar, poor English speaking, poor interpersonal skilled people to manage their customer service department. Comcast is some major ***. I want to give props to the supervisor in the DC area named JOSH with ID # 0114 who is the most aggravating, inconsiderate, rude-*** supervisor I've ever spoken to.

I really hope he gets fired soon but then again, he is most likely to get himself fired with his *** manners.

Switching to verizon also!

Comcast - Already paying for HBO every month but digital box won't let us watch w/out "buying" HBO. Repair/Replacement appts. are on their books but no one EVER comes.

I tried to watch an HBO drama recently, since I pay extra for the HBO channel every month. A text appeared on the television saying I needed to "buy" the drama because I don't have an HBO package. I called (waiting 42 minutes on the phone) and the Comcast person agreed that I am, indeed, already paying for HBO and so the message appearing on my screen was in error. She said the box must be bad. An appointment was made for a technician to come replace the box. Someone called late in the period given for the technician to arrive and said he was on his way and would be there in a "few minutes." The technician never came. Another appointment was made. ANOTHER NO SHOW. I am paying for something I cannot get...and they know it. That's FRAUD! Why hasn't some agency or federal commissioner looked into the thousands and thousands of reports detailing Comcast's horrendous business practices? The complaints from Comcast customers are flooding websites everywhere and the government agencies that are supposed to police fraud and corruption and protect consumers seem to be looking the other way. I am calling for someone, anyone to legally investigate and challenge Comcast's failure to conduct their business properly. The company has attempted to keep out competitors in Philadelphia and so have hamstrung customers who want another provider but cannot get the services they need. I want to get a fair deal and I want to do business with a company that has a concern for the quality of the product they are giving their customers. Comcast is a company that would throw its own mother under a bus if it meant an extra buck in their pocket. Horrible!!!

I'm sure I will be switching to some other provider. Comcast is horrible. I "upgraded" to the new triple play. Well, it's actually a downgrade. I was sent a new cable box.....which doesn't respond at all.....and zero luck I had getting anyone on the phone to help. When you do get a hold of someone the Indian accent is so think you can't understand it. I'd have to actually pay for some sub-par technician to come out and try to fix it. And the internet, which was supposed to be "lightning fast".....well I've been sitting here right now trying to write an IEP for work and waiting 20 minutes for the *** page to load. I had better internet with my $50 belkin that I only had to pay once for. That device is going back in tomorrow and I will be switching to direct tv and my good old reliable router. Comcast.....you suck at customer service and you do not provide the services, speed, or quality that you claim in your ads. Thank god we have a free market system so I can choose someone else for services.

Comcast has the worst service and customer service is by far the WORST!!! The calls are always being dropped while you're on hold waiting to speak with someone!!! The respentatives don't ever know what's going on....and each one has a different answer for the same problem and still does not resolve my issue EVER!!! I'm always given an ER # and suppose to be called back by a supervisor.....which has never happened. I feel like I'm being robbed of my money every month.

It seems that every 3-6 months comcast fails their customer. It may be that their services are down, or they try to raise your bill for no reason. Overall highly disappointed by comcast time and time again. Message to comcast- when will you start rewarding your loyal customers and stop trying to make it so difficult to do buisness with you?

Comcast - New service now both printers don't work and sit on phone 2hrs

they can't fix on phone and then disconnect me. I try to call back and go thought all these prompts and wait, wait, wait, and disconnect again. Just horrible incompetent service. They need more completion and everyone will drop them in a heart beat. They are not reasonable priced either. Oh my God, the most incompetent people. They can not even get the address right! and argue that I don't now my address. I called over and over and they get my info to pull up account and say be right back and then 4 more people come on the line and start all over again. This has gone on since noon and now almost 8 P.M.

Comcast - Called to reduce services as I couldn't afford the current bill of 197/month

I spoke with their rep and he found me a deal for 160/month including home security.also had 30 days to cancel. You have 30'days to cancel but you have an additional monthly fee for security and have a cancellation fee within those 30 days not sure why there is a 30 day day cancellation policy. So if you cancel after 30 days are they going to shoot me? Received a 600 bill after 22 different reps, I was told there was an error and I only owed 38.00. By the way my monthly fee is now 237 I am still on the phone with loyalty trying to cancel all services with this provider, waiting on security department. Comcast does not support the home security program so,you are pretty much on your own. My advise to everyone is to ask the department you are speaking to, name of rep, which call center and badge number. Also record your conversations.

I have spoken with 3 different customer service representatives whom all 3 have been very unhelpful I'm solving my issue. Because I want to cut my internet and phone service and keep Only cable, it seems as if they are mad about it and can only provide me with high rates, which are advertised lower. Poor customer service on helping the customer find a better solution. Ending result= me going to another provider who values my loyalty.

Comcast - NON Connectivity, Bad customer service

What I have done so far: Swapped modem Called customer service over 10 times now CONTINUOUS DAILY PROBLEMS CONTINUE. Modem is reset several times daily, (have reset modem this morning 8 times already), no service as I enter this complaint. Network utilities show: . destination host unreachable . time outs (shows time outs for over 10 to 15 minute time periods) .multiple dropped packets / malformed packets .ping TTL in excess of 1500ms Comcast is also our home phone, of course when there is no service, (which happens multiple times daily), we have no phone service which also means no access from my home phone to 911 Emergency services. Calling Comcast gets you a Comcast CSR, not a technician.... You will always be directed to do a cold hard reset..... Unplug everything, wait a few minutes, reconnect and see what happens. Usually it will take 15 to 30 minutes after you have called and Comcast has done several remote modem resets, you have service, which may restore service temporarily..... Until you hang up. What I suspect happens behind the scene, CSR, after having gone through their prepared troubleshooting procedures, contacts a real technician. They throttle up the service so that your service is seemingly fixed. A time parameter on your IP is affixed, when that parameter is reached and expires, you are back to your regular NON WORKING COMCAST.
