Comcast customer service is terrible!!

Internet went out and it even confirmed on their site that there was an outage in my area. Well a day later and still no internet so i called Comcast up and basically told me up front my modem is dying. I didn't believe the guy but he insisted that he have a technician come out to look at the modem. He didn't offer to check the cable lines or anything on Comcast's end to ensure i was getting a good enough signal. At this point i was already upset so i hung up. Mysteriously the internet came back on again 5-6 hours after i had called, about 4 hours after i wrote on comcast's forum telling them their customer service is terrible. It irritates me to no end how Comcast comes off and says i need a new modem because the one i have does not work good enough. It works fine. Besides having that internet glitch, this company is greedy and most likely was going to force me to use one of their modems raising the price of my service! Annoyed by this service and i hope Google Fiber will be available soon, getting tired of Comcast and i definitely recommend Dish, Direct TV or if you have anything better in your area avoid Comcast if you can. Comcast is not a recommended service, customer service is a joke and i wouldn't trust them at their word saying when something needs replacing when it's their business practice that needs fixing.

Comcast is still horrid, can't wait long enough for google fiber. Telling customers to upgrade to a new modem, either by buying one or renting one is ridiculous.

Worst Customer Service | Comcast review from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I have called Comcast "customer service" 3 times to resolve the same issue! I still do not have secure and reliable internet, and my bill is almost $150.00 per month. They verified that an unauthorized user has my ISP address; my own computer has displayed that message many times. I tried to get a password protected access from Comcast, and that failed. I am calling every state, local, and federal agency I know of to get satisfaction. I know that this activity is a crime punishable by fine, and I will pursue this matter legally at whatever level is required.

I agree with you 100 percent comcast is the worst customer service I have ever encountered. also they are nothing but a rip off unfortunately that is all we have here except Verizon Vios which is worse.

I feel for you we should not have to go through all this just to get what is right and belongs to us I cannot stand comcast and every month I have to call them about my bill. absolutely infuriating.

charging me to move my cable boxes to my new house, the house is cable ready, techs come push a button! I have paid THOUSANDS over the years for their sub-par service, now they want to back me into a wall and leave me without cable unless I pay their *** fee. Then the loser cs rep said I could just go ahead and cancel my service then! Wow, great customer service skills! Congrats, you just lost my service all because you want to keep charging *** fees for *** service! I have never paid late in over a decade! BYE BYE!!

I was about to sign contract with verizon ended up signing with comcast where they screwd me with 3 years contract

It is so Shaming . I was about to go with Verizon for my business with one phone line and internet they where offering me 112$ month to month, just called to ask the price from Comcast the guy there told me that taxes in Verizon are high and Comcast is the best. I have signed my lease for business which I closed for a year but Comcast without telling me signed me up for 3 years. the person on the phone never told me that I am going to have comcast in next 3 years even though I had my lease for one year. I called to customer service to cancel it and found out that i am stock with them. and the worst part is They don't let me go out of contract without signing the paper that i am going to pay them 75% of left contract. I have taken Contracts law and never saw similar type of contract when one party tries to go out of contract he can not. This is my civil right to break the contract. and by contract law the damage I caused I might be paying but in this case the damage for Comcast will be 120$ 10 $ a month discount that they gave me. So instead of paying 120$ more a year they now inducing me to pay 75 %, ridiculous. I have contacted to Comcast several times , asked the supervisor they told me they are going to call me and I have never received a call. Last time when i talked to representative in Comcast I asked her to give me in writing that somebody is going to call me but I have never heard anything. Comcast thinks That I am going to pay them, No I will wait till you take me to court where you will definitely loose

I don't know where to start. i'm waiting for them to arrive ...again. Customer service is nonexistent. They are robots who just say what they think you want to hear and then nothing happens. I have the TV and the equipment, but NO service!!!

Hey tom while I wait for over a week to get a technician to arrive to fix the cable issue why don't you send your wife here to ammuse me since I don't have cable due to Comcast's can't figure out which illegal to show up to ghetto the already ghetto cable

Poor product & service | Comcast review from Brockton, Massachusetts

Comcast required that I upgrade my Modem/Wifi device. Trouble is all I’ve had since the upgrade in February ’15. I am unable to use my mobile devices and my hard wired computer is slow. Today I was assured that a technician would be by my home today, Saturday between the hours of 4 - 7pm. NO SERVICE. I receive an automated call from Comcast wanting confirmation that the technician would be by my home on SUNDAY, between 9 - 12pm. REALLY?!!! WELL... they don't know what happened but it was rescheduled (WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE). Comcast service and products have gone downhill. I am one UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER. :(

I never bothered to get the new modem device. Just so Comcast can charge me another $10, no thanks..

my modem works fine. It's their connection and consumer service is what i hate about this company, cant' wait for Google Fiber.
