Worst service ever. | Comcast review from Nashville, Tennessee

I moved from one apartment to another. I got my services transferred to my new address 10 days before my move. But after 10 days in to moving to my new apartment, the service suddenly stops and i was on call with support for 2 hours to know that the service was never transferred at all? Then at that point they create a new account for me with higher rates. Its not all , now I took a package for 50 MBPS speed and I am receiving only 1 mbps... ?? is this what comcast is all about? Now, I was on call with support again for another couple of hours, but they could not fix it. I am so pissed off and I am wasting so much of my time for this *** service.

Comcast - Service Appointment Review

I just moved. There is a commercial building on the property as well as my residence. I can't get or schedule service until someone put the address in the residential section. Three reps refused to listen and two lied and said they had spoken to supervisors who were going to expedite the order and after four days the ticket has not been assigned. How is it to put a freakin' address in the system so they can have a new customer???

We were told that Comcast business was different from residential in that we would always be guaranteed great service, customer service reps that only work the business side and that we could transfer our domain name from Century Link to comcast. First, their customer service reps have no idea who they are even working for no less what they are saying. They all say the same thing - "we'll have that done within 48 hours". Nothing ever gets done. We have been without email for a week and a half with no end in sight. The speed we ordered was to be 150 megs and it costs $300 per month. I'm sure not everybody is willing to spend that kind of $$ on internet only, so they should be happy to have us as a customer. NOPE - they could care less. Their standard line is the old 48 hour BS. So, I think that after a week and a half of NOTHING getting done, I am entitled to cancel them and go back to Century Link.. which is what I just did. Just got off the phone with CL and they are delighted to have us back and to know that one more of their customers have come back to them from comcast. The faster internet speed is not worth the hassle to get our business up and running. In fact, we are losing business and dealing with irate clients. I just found out, after speaking to a family member on the phone today, that he had comcast for a couple of weeks and went back to Century Link because their service was awful. He had cable TV, too and it was blurry slow. He cancelled them right away, too. I wish I had spoken to him first before I made this *** move. Oh well, live and learn ... learn to never ever use comcast again.

very poor customer service... i have called, dropped messages online... all to no avail. mY comcast internet and tV was installed on tuesday jUne 16, 2015 but with a faulty remote. tHe representative by the name -Glenn left his number and promised to get a remote that works for me. i have been calling glenn's line and he aint picking up. Comcast called to find out how the service was and i told them it was poor and since then noone has come to sort the issue. am heavily pregant and cant keep bending down to change the tV channel. i think at this point i want out...comcast come and un-instal your TV...without recourse to me.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I call Comcast I have to have an attitude. Their "customer service" team (just a fancy name for pawns reading from company scripts) doesn't know *** and I always end up telling them to put me on the phone with someone who has the authority to solve my issue...this is just the beginning of my complaints, I could go on for days. If you can avoid using them PLEASE save yourself the headache!!

Comcast QUALITY ASSURANCE SUCKS! My 82 yr old mothers cable and telephone service went out 2 days ago, she is housebound and has a severe medical condition she is awaiting surgery for. I explained that it's CRITICAL that her phone service is restored but they scheduled her repair in 1 week! I've spoken with numerous people there and the last, a supervisor, told me he'd escalate it and I'd get a call today. It's 10:30 pm, her 2nd day of no service and no phone call. Her appointment is in 6 days. This is the most outrageously horrible company I've ever dealt with. Take my advice, chose Google, AT&T or Time Warner if you don't want to be treated like ***.

EVERYTHING ABOUT COMCAST IS PATHETIC! I called 3 weeks ago & was told they were shipping me a new modem, after 2 weeks I called again & was told they'd overnight one to me. Again, not received. Called again, was told it would be over nighted, I received it 2 days later BUT IT WAS THE WRONG MODEM. I called & complained & was told a technician would be at my house between 5-7pm the same day. At 5:40, I called to confirm the appointment with the confirmation number I was given, THEY SAID THERE WAS NO APPOINTMENT IN THE SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no idea how COMCAST is even in business. This is the *** I deal with every time I have to contact them.

Comcast is calling me to return equipment that I am still using

I recently when through Comcast's "moving" service. You know, the one that is supposed to be hassle free, just "let us do the work for you". Well that is complete bull. After I moved into my new place, I had to make several phone calls to a Comcast customer service representative. The rep had to "escalate" my case and I spent about an hour total either on-hold or talking to the rep before my service was finally working. However, that is not the end of this story. I am not receiving 2x daily phone calls an automated Comcast line. The automated voice message tells me that in order to return my equipment (the equipment I just moved and setup with Comcast's move service) I should either schedule a technician to come out and pick it up, send it in or visit a Comcast location. I am getting this automated call 2X DAILY!!! The call doesn't even allow me to connect to a Comcast Service Rep, it just tells me to call a number. Can you guess how that call is going to go?

I've been screwed. Taken advantage of. Mislead. Lied to by three different associates. I cannot get an answer from anyone on what to do. I paid my bill in full. Returned equipment. Said I did not return it. Now they want huge deposit because of not getting back their equipment. What can I do. I need help. I'm disabled and live on a fixed income. Just moved and that are up all of my saved money. Help!!
