Comcast Billing Department Review from Bridgeton, New Jersey

I was told that Comcast is no longer gonna send out service interruption notices in which in the past they did , even gave u a date, so now u mean to tell us customers that we don't deserve a NOTICE! But you'll send us our bill. Any & EVERY COMPANY send out notices whether its ELECTRIC , GAS , etc, & yet STILL SEND A NOTICE & DATE OF SHUTTING OFF YOUR electric or gas, SO why can't Comcast do the same for their comcast customers!!

Lmao. First off, I just want to point out that you make yourself look very irresponsible due to complaining about not getting a "Shut Off Notice" and mentioning that you get your bills....

You might consider making sure you DON'T breed. What a genius! You might consider maintaining your finances and setting priorities. Oh, and Comcast is a luxury.

You don't need it to see or cook food.

The is just a interesting question to read. What makes one account secured from anyone to including employees to look for information when they want to? Still I can hear in or around this place using my name to obtain services that is not theirs to begin with. Change phone number for a reason other than my own. I will give it out once I am there at my new location phone number that is. Yes I am moving out of area to new location. I am not at this address any more after August 28,2015. Service not here any more

STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST, I made the mistake of ordering xfinity because of the price, well, you get what you pay for, I started having problems on day one, I had 2 tech guys coming to my house, replaced the router and the dvr twice, I tried to close the account and I was offered more channels, I stayed for two months, now I canceled my account and when I did I asked for a balance, and now I got a bill that's more than double, called their so called customer service and according to them there is nothing they can do. Worthless company!!!!

I've been with Comcast since moving to the Stillwater, MN area Fall 2013). I feel they charge way more for what their services offer.

Still in all, not a whole lot of problems within an almost 2 year time span. Would like to see their package pricing go down vs.

way up each year.

WHO IS RUNNING THIS COMPANY? | Comcast review from Santa Fe, New Mexico

Yesterday, after an Xfinity truck was at my neighbors house, I lost service on my TV, my internet and my telephone. I now see that "bundle" is a bad thing to do. I spent two and a half hours with two Indian women who kept saying "no worries" which pissed me off even more. After all that they said that they could not send someone out until Saturday (this was Tuesday). The second woman had no "notes" on my first call and I had to start all over again. I was ready to pull out all Comcast equipment and start over with someone else. There is no way to talk with a human being in the US, or at least they wouldn't tell me how I could do that. So here I am now with no TV, no internet and no telephone for 5 days!!! I don't even know how I can get a credit for days without service. SOOOO FRUSTRATING.

Just a warning to anyone with Comcast service that lives in a multiplex/ multi family house or apartment building. This company WILL use your name and information to go into their system and make changes on other joined accounts they create under one profile. A sales rep will have you sign something stating they can make changes on your account (of course telling you it is to be of assistance to you) and then go in and pick up extra boxes and add services to sell on the side under your info. Do NOT trust their sales people and don't sign anything.

Called Comcast on 7/28/15 to set up new account for cable and internet and as of 8/24/15, we had not received any equipment or installation. An installer stopped by on 8/6/15, dug around the utilities to test signal strength and said a maintenance guy will have to come out to look at it because the signal was weak. I called back on 8/7/15 to get more info and the rep said they'd call back but they never did. Called again on 8/11/15 and the rep said they'd expedite our installation and service and once again never heard back. Called today to cancel and they said we're scheduled for an install on 8/31/15. Told them to forget it. If they can't make good on their promised installation and service dates, I can't imagine what their service would be like in the event of a problem. In addition to be hard to get ahold of, placed on hold for long periods of time and being hung up upon, I wouldn't recommend Comcast to anyone. Totally disappointed and will never be a Comcast customer now.

Lightning struck my home over the weekend and I had to purchase new televisions and I replaced the equipment (modem and DVR box) from Comcast, only to have the NEW equipment (modem and DVR box) not work....I called in to customer service and was on the phone for about an hour and I was totally unsatisfied! The person was not capable of handling my problem. My cable and internet is still not working and cable is too high to be on hold more than I enjoy my TV and internet. I wish there were come cable companies in my area.

It sucks, but it wasn't Comcast's lightening that struck your house. Just be glad they didn't charge you for their equipment. Doesn't seem legit to give Comcast a bad review for a lightening issue.

If lightening struck your house, wouldn't there be a possibility that the lines in your home went bad? First initial thought, but I'd check into having a technician come to your home.

Just make sure you have their Service Protection Plan for $4.99 on your account first so you don't get charged $99.99 for them to come out there.

After everything is fixed, just call back into them and take it off. Work their system.

I have to agree with those who say when Comcast internet works and cable works, it works. However, should anything go wrong, then Lord help us all! Their customer service people say the exact same thing, it does not appear that they even check anything on your account, as they ask you the details of your account! Then the 2 hour appt window? oh come on! They have never made the 2 hour appt window, and I'm always getting a $20 credit on my account, however, my bill goes up $40 or $10 or $20 for no reason, then I have to call and argue that. WHY OH WHY CAN'T THEY LEAVE THE MONTHLY PRICES ALONE AND GIVE US GOOD, NOT EVEN GREAT, BUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE?

For a Large Company I Would Have Expected at Least Reasonable, if Not Superior, Customer Service | Comcast review from Branford, Connecticut

I called Comcast the week after stopping into their branch office and getting all the information to hook up new service. I had to push through numerous voice prompts (none of which were relevant as to the reason for my call) before getting a human on the line. Michelle greeted me with an attitude which really threw me as we haven't even begun our conversation yet. After speaking with her for about 10 minutes or so, I realized she couldn't help me and asked to be transferred to a manager. After remaining on hold for about another 20 minutes Raymond came on the line. I asked if he was a manager and he said he was not. Well we discussed my situation and he actually was cordial and tried to help. Without explaining anything to me, he put me on hold and when he came back on the line, he said he had Bob on the line who could help me. Strange but ok. I went through everything with Bob (now my 3rd time) and ultimately got very frustrated that I politely told Bob I would be going to their competition and said good bye. I would think any company would bend over backwards to gain new customers, but that certainly was not my experience! And...they lost my business before they ever got it. A shame for them. Previously I was with Cox Communications for 22 years and they couldn't thank me enough every time I called!! Silly Comcast...
