Details
Called and ask for discounted services. Was set up for 99.00 dollars a month package and my bill is 184.00 dollars a month. Call customer service and they give me the run around. This is crazy.

What the *** are we paying for? Approximately 200 dollars for literally .30-12 mbps internet? Okay so may stuff isn't set up correctly. It isn't my fault in the first place. It's their job to do that for you. They didn't start us off with a modem... Only a gateway. We had the router. I had to set everything up to give us what we have no. Maybe 5mbps on a good day when before it was below 1 on average............below 1 mbps on average. Seriously just wanted to say *** comcast...they suck ***...stank ***...like pure jenkem.

Comcast in Atlanta, Georgia - Fraud and Deceit!

I don't trust these guys. I signed up for 2 years (Triple Play) and was sent equipment. The modem went bad after the first week, and again the second I spent my own money to buy a modem that they then told me was incompatable. I was told that the Plan THEY signed me up for was too customer friendly and accounting would not honor our contract. I believe this is called FRAUD! Four and a half hours on the phone just to get this straigtened out, and NO ONE seems to have any notes of who and when I last called.

Comcast customer service sucks! Everything was good until I moved. The person in the apartment before me had a $900 bill so a hold was placed on the apartment so we went to have it taken off. Well Comcast *** the hold, but proceeds to give us the package of the previous resident which was $80 more than ours. After several days of phone calls they tell me that the package I previously had was no longer available so it would be more expensive regardless but i finally got my bill down to $129 (previous bill was only $110) a month (After cussing out all but 2 customer service reps). On top of that they were suppose to install cable in my bedroom. A contractor would come, say that a tech had to do it, the tech came, said the contractor had to do it and scheduled the appointment for me... Comcast has cancelled appointments without contacting me, contractors haven't showed up on the proper dates, they just keep rescheduling and rescheduling and rescheduling and here we are 2 months later with no TV in my bedroom and a technician calling me telling me they are outside while I am at work when i was never notified of the appointment nor did i make the appointment. These services are definitely not worth the hassle!

I realized from my bill that Comcast was charging me for a modem that I was not renting from them. I had purchased my own modem several years ago. Customer service stated they showed at least two years of this $10 per month charge, but they couldn't go back any further. Do they not keep records past two years? I have had my own modem for 8 years. Supervisor at the call center stated that it was my responsibility to inform them of the wrong bill when it occurred. That even though they have documentation of my $10 per month payment for several years, they could only credit me $30. This is their policy and they would not budge. I have been with Comcast for 11 years, but I will not be with them another. For a conglomeration of this size to have no customer loyalty is very sad.

Details
Comcast overcharged from the outset, even billed for 2 month's service after 3 weeks. Promised adjustment in bill amount which never materialized. Service suspended for nonpayment of disputed bill, now i cannot get through to a representative. Just want to be done with these people and I cant even cancel service! Singularly the worst customer services I have ever experienced.

We had Direct TV but they were so bad, we decided to give Comcast a try. Big Mistake! How can they have trouble when it's stormy-aren't they underground? We didn't have any TV on Super Bowl Sunday with Direct TV and they suggested we get on the roof and clear out the snow from our dish. We didn't want to (we're old) but they said it was too dangerous for one of their technicians to do it. But it's OK for us?! So now, we have Comcast. The TV and Internet went out today. Do we get a refund? Of course not. We're completely at their mercy!

Avoid COMCAST if humanly possible!

I have relocated out of a Comcast area, and have been trying to discontinue service since early in July. As of today,8-18-15, my account STILL SHOWS OPEN with an overdue balance over $300. I have been told numerous times it is closed, however, it still shows an overdue balance, when in fact, I have been told I should be receiving $42 within the next 4-6 weeks as over payment. Company does not have its act together, and each time you talk to one of their technicians, you get a different story. Every time they said someone would be calling me back within 24 hours, no-one ever did. AVOID if possible.

Dicontinued comcast service after 35 years. They reneged on a post dated payment arraignment back on Aug 27. Have since moved on to a more customer friendly service. Bye bye comcast........never again.
