Comcast in Savannah, Georgia - They Need To Spend Less Time Teaching People How To Politely Not Help You and More Time Actually Doing Something Worthwhile !!

I very mistakenly returned to Comcast in order to take advantage of a bundle offer. I had been with them years ago . The reasons why I left came flooding back this week. Their customer service approach needs a make over !!! In the four weeks I have been with them I have had to reactivate my service for unknown reasons four times. I was initially sent the wrong equipment and am still trying to resolve those issues with them. The second shipment is still incorrect. Now I have no service what so ever and  have spent an entire day from eight am until eight pm trying to get someone to help me. Everytime you call you get a different person. Some are very hard to understand. You get put on long holds and then get disconnected. Even though they are aware you waited a long time and gave them your phone number each time you called ,they never return your dropped call. You start all over again and again with a different person each time starting from step one ; phone number, name , address, serial #, social. The agents are reading from scripts ,I presume. The over abundance of thank you's repeatedly for ever piece of information you provide are irritating !!There is a log kept but for some reason they need the information repeated everytime , even in the same day. I was told that there were no available appointments and that a supervisor would call me back and make arrangements with me. I waited eight hours for that call ! No call came and I had to start all over once again from the square one. I am a new customer without service ,who has had problems off and on from the start.  The equipment I have doesn't match the programs I selected . One of the remotes can not be programmed to go with the TV. My service has been "interrupted" at least on four occassions and now I have had no service for four days and counting. The right equipment ,by the way ,is many more dollars a month than the original equipment, making the bundle much more expensive than what I had with Direct TV and  much more than the bundle price I agreed to. Everytime I call they want me to take a customer service survey at the end.  You have got to be KIDDING ! There needs to be a better way. They are a company that grabs your money and then treats you very disrespectfully. Their actions ,all the while trying to polite you to death with their rhetoric, do nothing to earn your loyalty. I am ashamed of myself that I gave them a second chance. My time with Direct TV was uneventful. I am not a complaining person by nature. This company needs to relook at their practices. Never Again !!!

As a note, if you don't pay, you don't have services. At least Comcast gives you a bigger window of time to pay the bill.

Dish and direct TV will shut you off 5 days after your due date and make you pay 3 times the deactivation fees. You might wanna try keeping up on your bills.

One red flag is you're on SSI. Right there says "Don't go beyond your means." Two, the agents on the other end of the phone were probably the "Collections" or "Payment Services" (Now called to make it sound friendlier), and those guys can't do a whole lot when you're not making your payments and don't check to make sure the payment went through.

(You're responsible for your financial circumstances. Don't blame companies or their representatives for your flaws.

Just an unbiased perspective. You don't get to be entitled for what you don't pay for...

Comcast Account Review

Comcast took 2 payments out of my account on the same day and are refusing to give me back my money. My bank faxed verification to them twice and they still refuse to give me back my money. Comcast Cable sucks and they are theives!

Comcast treats their customers horribly. They have lied to us multiple times about coming to our home to set up cable/wifi. And, it takes over 1.5 hours just to get a representative initially on the phone! I can understand why so many are switching to AT&T. Comcast should be ashamed about how they treat people.

I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND COMCAST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

I requested a transfer of service on 8/21/15. I didn't get an install date until a month later and a month of calling and the DATE was weeks AFTER that.

All installers that were sent out to my home were either incompetent or just plain out lazy. The 1st "installer" only installed my security & stated that he couldn't do ANYTHING else due to the work order. The work order should have been for security transfer, cable transfer and 2 cable outlets installed. So 2 more weeks of me waiting and having to take time away from my job-the 2nd "installer" said they came but was never seen!

So, in true Comcast fashion, ANOTHER WEEK went by and yet another "installer" (THIRD)has been sent out, but this time, this person was an cable installer or WHATEVER you want to call it BUT he couldn't do a wall-fish which was required for my home apparently. So, another week goes by and now we're at lucky # 4 (yeah right) FINALLY arrives with 15 mins left in my scheduling window...he walks in (no more than 5 feet in) and states that he could not process the work order because I LIVE IN A TOWNHOME!!!! Which i have NEVER heard of and I have YET to get a competent installer to come to my home and complete the services that I request from Xfinity. No customer should have to wait MONTHS for ANYTHING with Xfinity.

I have yet to get a new date.

I AM though, still getting excuses, lies, good for nothing apologies, the run-around and more lies. I have missed SEVERAL hours of work due to having to keep taking off to meet the installer, only for them not to do ANYTHING!

Long story short-ISSUE STILL GOING

Comcast/Xfinity a.k.a. SUCKTAST has HORRIBLE customer service reps. They either don't know the product, can't answer you, hangs up or can't speak proper English. I have YET to have a problem be resolved without speaking to AT LEAST 5 different reps during 5 different call and it has NEVER taken under an HOUR! This is just absolutely ridiculous. They can't possibly wonder why people are switching to AT&T! They need to do an entire refresh of ALL customer service reps from the bottom, up or do some MAJOR training across ALL aspects of "Xfinity". Thumbs down all around-Sorry!

Tengan cuidado todos los clientes de comcast porque les mienten al aser cambios de programacion a mi me isieron un contrato ellos sin desirme que la programacion que me cambiaron tenia contrato x 2 años les e llamado minimo 10 veses y no me lo quieren quitar me disen que si canselo me van a cobrar x algo que ellos me dieron sin esplcarme lo del contrato tengan cuidado tambien se me va la señal mucho ya me canse de llamarles al fin me mandaron el tecnico y segun el iva a cambiar un cable y no lo iso se fue sin desirme nada tube que llamar para saber x que ni me arreglo el problema nis estan rovando *** no esplcar lo de loscontratos que supuestamente tienen las programasiones cuidado paisanos *** esta compañia al menos yo estoy bien desepcionado decomcast cuidense *** lo que les ofresen porque luego les salen *** cada sorpresa y a ellos no les importa el cliente les importa vender programas y estafar gente si les ofresen mucho es mentira cuidado

I am in the same situation as you...since 2011. Still paying my bill ,they gave me a twenty dollar credit. (How thoughtful)Still have unreliable service.....and get nothing but double talk when I do hear from someone. Comcast is a monopoly and they don't care to fix...

VERY POOR CUSTUMER SERVICE, HAD MULTIPLE DISRUPTIONS IN SERVICE FOR TV AND INTERNET, THEY MAKE MULTIPLE APPTS FOR SERVICE REPAIR AND NO ONE SHOWS, WE HAVE MISSED TIME OFF WORK MULTIPE TIMES AND NO ONE SHOWS TIME AND TIME AGAIN, WE ARE WITHOUT TV AND INTERNET FOR WEEKS AT A TIME, AND ARE STILL CHARGED AS IF WE HAD WORKING SERVICES.WHENEVER YOU CALL THEM IT IS LIKE THE FIRST TIME THEY HAVE HEARD YOUR COMPLAINT, NO RECORDS OF PREVIOUS CALLS AND NO ONE CAN EVER HELP, ALL THEY CAN DO IS PUT IN A REQUEST FOR AN APPT FOR A SERVICE TECNICIAN THAT NEVER SHOWS UP.
