Comcast Cable Review from Smyrna, Georgia

I have been with Comcast for years and my bill always got higher even when new customers got to pay half the amount that I do. I moved to a new house and against the advice of others, I signed a new two year contract with Comcast at a new customer rate. The original guy that installed it didnt have time to update the wiring so I had to contact Comcast to come back out. In the meantime, I was contacted about signing up for the home security. After reading some bad reviews, I cancelled the appointment. The customer service agent did not cancel the appointment or take the charges off of my bill. They instead sent a VERY nice young man to install the system and not the wiring that I had spent two hours trying to get scheduled. I was then told by customer service that my bill would remain at the same price with the security system because they were unable to lock me into the great move in price that I was originally given. The customer service agent gave me a "what are you going to do" attitude since I was locked into a two year agreement. At this point, i had had enough. I had to tell what happened to 5 people and the last person I spoke with had such a bad attitude and she hung up on me. The hero in this story was our nice installer. He was able to contact his supervisor and get the billing issue resolved. I will still cancel my service at the end of the contract since Comcast no longer cares about loyal customers. It is sad that the only way that you can get a live person on the phone is to yell curse words to the phone robot. My apologies to the installer for my outburst. I am just fed up with *** customer service

Comcast Business Internet Review

Comcast, shame on you. Have gotten too big for your britches. Support staff all over the country who don't know what they are doing. I have had issues starting in November & each person has made the problem worse. My VOIP system has been out for over a week. Great for business. Get me a supervisor who can really fix my problem

Comcast - No Service 1 week and Counting!

After i upgraded my Service from Basic to X1 Starter, comcast asked me to get the new Cable box which i got and was communicated it will work as soon as i reach home. It has been 1 week, i have spend 1-2 hrs everyday to call only to hear appointment is for tomorrow which never comes. 4-5 Tickets created, Escalations done. Only thing they are prompt about is charging extra over 300GB limit promptly. I feel tired of dealing, calling them now. Need to see what to do next.

Comcast - No Service after upgrading to Higher Package, 1 week and counting!

I upgraded to Digital Starter Package and was told to get new Cable box from Service Center, visited and got it and was told it will work immediately. Started the new Box gives error. 4-5 Tickets, Escalation Tickets created so far. They get closed with no resolution. Every day i call and spend 1 hour on call and finally told next day someone will come. Ruined my long weekend and whole week and counting and will be paying on top for this *** NO service. Terrible Service but extremely prompt in charging over 300GB data usage. I think i need to file a complaint with some Bureaus at this time.

Comcast - Website unuseable

The website is unusable--each time you try to change screens you have to log back in (even though you are already logged in) and then get re-directed to Loopland and die there. Total apathy.. Was simply trying to do recon and research re: an upgrade but that is impossible. You would think they would be all over that, but alas...Ponderous, man, ponderous. They should aspire to just stink--there's an level of service in America they can aspire to--not there yet, though.

Comcast - Terrible Reliability, Quality and Customer Service is Absolute BOTTOM

I have had intermittent service from Comcast since moving to Park Ridge in August, 2015. The internet is completely unreliable but the most exasperating problem is the total lack of concern and response by their customer "no-service" department. I have wasted hours on the phone with Comcast even opened a case with the Corporate Executive Customer Relations Department (Don't waste your time) - promised a call back - nothing. A technician was supposed to be here at 8AM today - no show. Not sure who negotiated this franchise contract in Park Ridge but they should be held accountable. I dont like a company or anyone taking my money but failing to delivery what they sell. Comcast has proven they have no fault tolerance in their network or redundancy to prevent the unacceptable outages. Im checking for a better and more reliable customer focused provider. Comcast does not deserve to be in business.

Changed to the X1 platform that they said was the best thing since sliced bread and wouldn't have anymore problems with their service! It has been nothing but problems. The DVR and Modem has been replaced several...

I woudl recommend getting your own cable modem. I have the Motorola SB6141.

It's DOCSIS 3.0 343 speed gigabit. Motorola has updated these for 2016. They have versions with higher speeds, and, 1 with a built in wifi router.

I also have there monthly house service that I used a few times that saved alot.

I need to cancel that.

I exhcnaged the setyop box for a cablecard that I use in a 4-tuner Centon card that I run on a Win7 Media Center desktop. I stream over my network to an XBOX360 as a media extender to my 60" led tv. I also added 1 4tb WD Purple drive to use for the recordings on the Desktop.

Nice setup, and very reliable. As reliable as the Comcast cable TV service.

Comcast - BOTTOM LINE .... YOU SUCK !!!!!!!

Just had comcast one day and internent has been cutting off as well as tv Worse customer care EVER !!!!! We will be switching back to frontier for monday as well the sales rep forest what a FAT LAIR you are with your so called best service and prices etc you ALL suck ! Technicians show up without appointments or calls ahead to let us know they are coming. Took technicians over an hour with customer care on the phone. Customers beware for the scam

Comcast - Complaints

Talked to 7 people 2 who can not speek or understand english, 2 who did not know how to do thier job 2 that hung up while I was waiting. Told we wanted to cancealed are phone said we would get a double play. Then transfered and hung up on. Next person when I called back said there was no deal like that. So who knows anything there! Looking somewhere else for service cause yours sucks. Your people made the mistake at first, so why is the consumers the one who suffers. You as a company do not care about the customer.

I've been with Comcast 14 years and they finally failed me like my friends

After 14 years as a happy customer with my only complaint a faulty box you are going to loose me. I work nights and do not watch much TV and you took away my favorite channel spike. You are like the rest all trying to push higher packages for one channel . I'LL BE DUMPING YOU FOR ANYTHING ELSE. LOYALTY IS A WASTE. I guess america is just a bunch of *** where all companies are just looking to raise there customers prices . Yes I am truly fed up with this company and will have to find a way to another company

Comcast - Internet robbery

I am thoroughly upset with Comcast. I switched over to them from directv and have been a loyal customer for years despite the ridiculous price hikes. Recently, I received a text message saying that I went over my 300GB limit (within 20 days!!!). I have never been notified that my plan would change and that I would only be able to use this amount of. Come to find out last November they have decided to cut unlimited plans unless you want to pay an additional $30 a month!!!!! this is ridiculous and they should be ashamed of themselves. If you choose not to pay for the unlimited they charge $10 for each additional 50GB......

Costs go up, service goes down. I am tired of returning "boxes" to try and solve their problems and then have to reprogram all my information! Is Comcast inconvenienced? No, I am. I have to disconnect the box and drive it back to them. Had a service person at the house and that accomplished nothing. So here I am again watching my recordings lock up and strange channels pop up. So yet another trip back to Comcast with my box under my arm......... Comcast makes the DMV look good!

last week comcast co had problems with many tv in the area we have been waiting since last wednesday spoke to 5 different people got a code someone would call in 24 hr..NO ONE CALLED....3 other people we called tryed to do it over the phone...same today someone called and could not do anything said HE WILL CALL BACK NEVER DID...suppose to come tomarrow morning.........live in verona walk naples.....they have a contract with them EVERY ONE PASSES THE BUCK WORST CO SHOULD BE OUT OF OF BUSINESS

When my service became interrupted I called Comcast and spoke to an agent and let her know what was going on and in return this agent was ignorant disrespectful and didn't know how to talk to customers I'm so pissed off that I pay all this money for this service and I have to listen to some *** talk to me the way that she did she blatantly lied to me about the situation in my bill and told me that I had to pay her over the phone and when I told her that I didn't want to pay the 599 just to speak and pay a bill over the phone she told me that I have to and if I do with through the automated machine I have to pay it anyway no I don't know what's going on but that's totally unacceptable to me I'm a single father of two kids I work hard I try to keep up with all my bills and then the cable bill comes in and it's through the roof the prices that you charge ridiculous and then when you go on demand you have to pay for every TV show anyway you should be ashamed of yourself. This company is nothing but signs of corporate greed taken from middle class America and taking every cent that you possibly could with no disregard for anybody's family

My comcast cable goes out every night. They say its due to updating the system but sometimes it won't come back up again. I have called up time after time and its hard to get past the automated attendant. Then after trying to get past it, it hangs up on me. This happens over and over. Eventually, if I get through, the customer service rep says that all I have to do is press O but that was what I was doing all along and it doesn't work. They say they have outages on the website but they won't answer their phones to talk to me. I pay a lot of money each month for my "bundle" and when it works, its great but it often stops working. Unfortunately, there is no better company to switch to. Direct TV has lots of customer complaints about stealing money from customer accounts and Dish TV has been sued so many times I can't count so I guess Comcast is the best of the worst.
