Comcast in Rhodesdale, Maryland - *** equipment

I have to replace the DVR box two to three times a year. That requires unhooking it, hauling it back to a Comcast office, getting a new one, going through all the BS to get the new DVR up and running and that one tears up again in a few months. In the past you could use the electronic menu to send a refresh signal to the box. If that doesn't work you have to return it. Now you have to talk to someone in India that speaks terrible English. The only thing they are capable of doing is sending a refresh signal. How *** is that? The service is a home/office combo so I don't have a say in which service is used. When the time comes and it is possible to drop Comcast I most certainly will. The biggest reason I will drop them is the fact they have taken jobs from America and given them to a foreign country because they are greedy. I believe the time is fast approaching when you will be able to sign up for service with individual stations and channels instead of having to get a boat load of channels you don't watch in order to get the few you like. I hope it happens soon.

Comcast - They Killed Customer Service

I rescheduled my appointment from September 28, 2015 to October 2, 2015 because the company stated that someone had to be home for the install. I am a graduate student and the only time I am available is on Friday for the 1 to 5PM time frame that they give you. I alerted the leasing office that Comcast was coming and I stayed home all day so I would not miss them. I received a call at 5:31pm but it went to my voicemail. I immediately listened to the voicemail and a customer service representative from the service center stated that a technician was outside of my building and could not gain access. I went downstairs and there was no on there. I called the service center and I was told that the technician closed the ticket out at 2:30PM because he could not gain access to the building. The leasing office stated that they did not see Comcast on the premises nor did the technician use the call box on the side of the building. The supervisor mentioned that I would have received a call from the technician. I advised the supervisor I did not receive a call from the technician at 2:30PM I only received a call from a customer service representative at 5:31PM. The supervisor told me that no on could install my service today and the earliest would be Tuesday. I advised the supervisor that I have classes during the week and I needed someone out the following day because I am at home and I should not have to wait until he can find a day that I was home and the technicians could install the cable and Internet services. I asked to speak to someone who could authorize my services to be installed the following day on Saturday. I was told that if I spoke with the CEO he could not authorize my services being installed on Saturday. He stated that he did not know what day they could install the service but he would open up a ticket and try to see what date that they can get for my services to be installed. This is poor customer service. The technician failed to show and they would not correct the problem. I waited for four hours to comply with what they are asking. I was brushed off with no definite resolution. Just a bunch of maybes and I can see. This is completely unacceptable especially with the money that they charge for the services.

I waited almost a week for them to install my service and it is still not completed. They charge you ridiculous amounts for installation services and the technician who came and did not complete the job the first time was very unprofessional.

Comcast has been talking big game about customer service for years. However, nothing has changed.

I read an online article that they had over 2,000 complaints filed with the FCC. For the prices they charge they need to have better customer service.

Comcast - Horrible service in Atlanta Southwest

First, Comcast hook their service to the only electrical outlet on my patio. Then the service goes out every hour and reboots which interrupts what your watching. Second, I tried calling Comcast - automation can't hear you. After keying in on options, the automation switches you to an agent then disconnets you completely. I made 5 calls to Comcast to get the same thing happen every time. Comcast won't even let you cancel their services. Im so through with Comcast. Now, on one of my receivers I get no GUIDE listing. Why am I paying $127.00 per month for poor and shotty service? Please Comcast let me go. Cell #312-623-2814. My cousin is here from Mississippi and witnessed the horrible service of Comcast, she's having her house built here in Atlanta-SW and will go with DIRECTV instead.

Comcast - Bundle Review from College Park, Maryland

My internet,TV and phone have been down since yesterday! I work from home. Called and was given a ticket number and a technician was supposed to come out. 6:30 PM and no one shows! Call again and was assured I was still in the schedule. No one shows . I called again this morning and was told the supervisor deemed it not an emergency and cancelled! So no services second day and now they tell me someone will show up between 12-4 this afternoon. How can I be assured this will happen? Very frustrated and I am going to lose another day of work!

Someone in your area hit a guard rail causing an outage in the College Park area. It's been a few days, I assume comcast runs on the leased lines that were hit and damaged. (I don't work with residential networks)

This company has the worst customer service I have ever received! I was part of a bulk plan through my apartment complex and left with no choice but to use the company and forced to pay for cable weather I wanted it or not. The crazy thing is it would seem not a single customer rep has ever heard of a bulk account or at the very least has no clue how to manage these accounts. It was a nightmare setting up and was a nightmare to give back the box for the cable and transfer my internet when I moved out. Endless call transfers that get you nowhere! And some of the nastiest/rudest customer service I have ever received from any company! I was very clear about wanting the exact same internet service I was already receiving in my old place moved to my new place, when they told me the price it had gone up. I asked why and was told it is just the price being offered, come to find out they upped my speed and where charging me extra! I went into the store to give the boxes back after I actually moved they informed me my set up that I was assured several times over the phone was all good to go was actually not processed because they forgot to disconnect the previous tenants service. I was again assured it was all taken care of, but then I got home only to find my internet was not working in my new place even though it was prior to going into the store. I then had to call Comcast yet again to try and resolve my issue. I was called ma'am despite repeatedly saying my name was Mathew which I corrected them on only to be called ma'am 1 min later by the same (barely English speaking) rep. I asked to speak to a supervisor but was instead transferred to IT. I would drop Comcast in a heart beat but just like my previous apartment, my current apartments only option is Comcast, what a nightmare! I would strongly recommend if you have other options than Comcast to seek them out and don't get stuck in their trap, you will never get out, just transferred, and transferred, and transferred,....

On September 30th i called customer service at 10:20. By 11:57 I had spoken with three representatives and had been disconnected three times. The last representative before being disconnected informed me that a ticket should be issued and I would hear from a manager by the end of the day???? No one called!!! On October 1st I drove to the Tamiami Trail location and once again they said they could not help but would fill out another ticket for me...... and have a nice day. I have been overcharged for several months and just received a bill for 188.00 dollars of which my payment per month is only 39.95. All I wanted was to be refunded and cancel my service with comcast. Still no response????

They have the worse customer service. I have had the most horrendous experience with these people.

I have filed a complaint with the FCC and the BBB.

I suggest that you do the same. It is time Comcast become accountable for their horrible below average customer service.

Comcast in Lawrenceville, Georgia - Worst Customer Service Ever

I have been put off, had my service CONTINUALLY go up and down for over year, paid for items I don't have for over a year, had a service tech call and tell me they would be at my home and then never show up and been openly and blatantly lied to by each and every "customer service" rep I have spoken too. Truly, flat out lies simply to make me stop talking and hang up the phone. I have never experienced such treatment. Comcast has a monopoly on my neighborhood and therefor I am stuck. When I am no longer stuck I will no longer be a customer.

Received self install package on 9/18/15, to this date being that of 10/1/15, we still have NO SERVICE! I've called more times than countable on two hands. Gone as high Corporate and still have NO RESOLUTION! Spent hours on the phone with this corporation, been hung up on, throwed back into their call loop. Promised callbacks from Corporate....still waiting. This company obviously has TOO MANY CUSTOMERS and NOT ENOUGH MANPOWER. I have now called AT&T UVERSE for service....1st company to provide us with service WILL BE THE ONE THAT GETS OUR BUSINESS. Also, we've already received billing due 10/8/15...they sure wasted no time getting that out. Overall they STINK FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM!!!! We simple want SERVICE!!

Comcast Cable Account Review

Worst experience ever. Ordered new service, paid extra to have boxes shipped 1 day, boxes never came. Called customer service they put me on hold for 20 min then tried to offer me a $10 discount, after I already spent $30 on one day shipping. Will be very happy when google fiber comes!!!!!
